End of the Year

You can tell when the year was ending at Hogwarts, even when it's your first year; students begin to mess around with their peers and papers. Things apparently don't matter at the end of the school year. Of course, for me, I was the child who was made to make the Malfoy name be known again. I was "the chosen one" to the Malfoy name, making us strive.

I had passed Harry in one of the corridors and he seemed as if something was bothering him; I can easily remember the murmurs of people around him wondering if he was okay, his hand was wrapped in gauze. Apparently, rumor had it that this eleven year old boy had saved the entire school from potential danger; this danger had a name that no one had heard in eleven years, Voldemort. I remember when I had passed him in the corridor, Draco turned to me with a particular look on his face that screamed "I hate you". Even when that boy is silent, you can read him like a book, or at least I could as his twin sister.

After wondering what had happened in the dungeons between Professor Quirrell and Harry, we were found on the Hogwarts Express once again ready to go home. I realized how much I would miss this place, even though I didn't have many true friends other than Draco and Blaise. Little did I know what was to com e in my second year of Hogwarts; looking back on it now, I realize how much I could have done in my first year at Hogwarts, but if I had done anything differently, I might have ended my Hogwarts career on a different note.

That summer was spent mostly with Blaise and my many textbooks that were sent to me by owl from Professor Snape; I was told that there was a surprise coming my way second year at Hogwarts, and I wasn't sure if I was ready for it.
