“What happened?” Staff Sergeant Salazar stresses.
The sound of the alarm continues to wails all over the tunnel network. “I could have tripped an alarm.” Elfie says.
I continue to watch the surveillance footage on the television sets. Keeping a close eye on any enemy that will appear on the screen.
“Can you turn it off?” Staff Sergeant Salazar asks Elfie.
“I can’t. Firewalls just keep on popping out from nowhere! Someone is blocking me off.” She answers.
Then I see something in one of the surveillance footage. A group of people with rifles at hand running at one direction. “Serge! We got company!” I exclaim.
“Elfie. Stop decrypting that file and find out where and how long will it take them to reach us.” Staff Sergeant Salazar commands Elfie.
“Ar-cee. Which camera?” Elfie asks.
I turn to the surveillance footage to find out which camera has taken the footage. “134” I say.
“Ok. They will be arriving at ETA…” Elfie wasn’t able to finish her calculation because I begin hearing gun fires.
Jarek and Slayer enter the security room with guns at hand. “Serge! They’re everywhere!” Jarek stresses.
“How many?” Staff Sergeant Salazar says.
“I don’t know. Maybe fifteen or more.” Slayer says. “It’s hard to tell.”
“Elfie. Which surveillance footage that shows their position.” Staff Sergeant Salazar commands.
“Camera 119.” Elfie says.
I turn to see the surveillance camera at 119. The camera is directly located at the top rear of the enemy. “It doesn’t show much. I can only see 4 of them.” I say.
“Any other?” Staff Sergeant Salazar asks.
“Unfortunately, the other camera has been affected by the scrambler we’ve placed outside.” Elfie answers.
Then the gunshots stops.
“Are they gone?” Jarek asks.
“Nope. They are still there.” I answer. I continue to watch the surveillance footage as Staff Sergeant Salazar tries to find a way out of the room. Basically, we are trapped. The security room has only one way in and one way out.
“What are they waiting for?” I ask as I keep a close watch on the surveillance footage. “They just stand there.”
Staff Sergeant Salazar walks towards me and watch the enemies at the surveillance footage. “They’re not moving.” He says. The enemies are all holding their positions with rifles aimed straight to the doorway of security room.
“Elfie, can you make all television show the footage from camera 119?” Staff Sergeant Salazar asks.
“Ok.” Elfie says. “Give me a few seconds.” Elfie begins to tap the keys on her laptop’s keyboard. About a full three seconds all the television sets along one side of the wall of the security room became one, showing only camera 119. “There.” She says.
“Ok. Jarek, they’re all yours.” Staff Sergeant Salazar says.
Jarek looks straight to the full combined television showing camera 119. He turns away and raises the pistol at his hand pressing it to his chest. He closes his eyes and takes one deep breath. He suddenly opens his eyes, turns out the door only exposing his right hand and half of his face then shoots.
