Chapter 10

     Another meeting in the cellar. Loud bickering escalated as of to why it was called at three in the morning.

"QUIET!!" Mia shouted.

    The nameless group became silent.

"Can I say something?" Jordan said.

    Mia nodded her head in approval. This was not that unusual since nearly everyone had something to say. Though the fact Jordan who just stood there being the village idiot actually wanted to say something, was quite new.

"I would like to say I'm taking some time off of the team for the matter that I'm going on a Biology retreat that goes on until a few days before homecoming," he said.

    Sofia looked like a dead fish from shock. Mia shrugged since she couldn't do anything to prevent him from going.

"Now that that's settled, Operation Embezzle is in motion," Mia said.

"What?" Daniel said confused.

"It's a synonym of steal. Which we are going to how to put it, steal Jeffery Hugo for answers."

    Murmurs went around.

"It's only for like what three hours not a problem," Mia shrugged.

"So who's going to go after him and details," Paris said.

"Sometime tomorrow before school gets out today. Two fighters, two there, and a brainiac."

    Debate went on of who would go until Mia turned on the screen. Five names came up.

DANIEL KING

HAZEL DAVIS

ALEC CHEKOV

CAS CHASTITY

AARON EVANS

    The yelling continued. Perhaps it was the fact a second year was going on the "mission." An that the second year had little experience.

"This is who I picked for the mission and that's it! Keep your phones on you. Daniel will be in the computer room keeping tabs on the security cameras. The rest of you listen to him," Mia said. "Dismissed."

      They parted wherever they went. Hazel and Makoto went back to their dorm. While Makoto fell fast asleep, Hazel stared at the ceiling trying to fall asleep. She could her something quite large hit the wall, then yelling, a crack, it went on for a while until she fell asleep.

    The next day it started raining in the morning. Hazel ran up the school noticing she had forgotten her sweater. By the time she reached the entrance her clothes were soaked. Makoto had already gotten there and was chatting with her friends up and down the hallway. Aaron had been standing by the lockers with Chekov and Mia.

    It wasn't until third hour that she felt near dry. Classes were still boring as ever. Until the sixth class nearing the last twenty minutes when Cas came in.

"Yes Ms. Chastity?" The teacher asked bored.

"Mrs. Darrow request Ms. Davis," Cas said.

"As far as I know Ms. Chastity you're not on Mrs. Darrows list of student helpers."

"She just told me to come get her."

"Very well."

    Hazel grabbed her stuff before running out with Cas.

"Go to your locker and grab your stuff. I doubt we'll come back," Cas said coldly.

    She ran to her locker grabbing her bag shoving her supplies in it. Cas stayed where she was, this time her arms crossed and looking incredibly bored. Taking notice, Cas started down another hallway with Hazel slightly behind.
