It was a rather rainy tuesday. You stared out of the window in your classroom. Not paying attention to anything. It was only you and your thoughts. Until your ears registered a sound that wasn't normal. A voice, ...no voices you never heard before. You turned your head to look to the front of the class. 3 people. New. They were the same age as you. It wasn't normal that 3 people changed class on the same day. And how far you could see they weren't triplets or anything. Two boys and one girl. The girl, she looked kinda Hispanic. In her brown, uneven cutted hair were feathers. They were braided in. She looked nice. The boys, welllll, one looked sickly pale. He had black, quite long hair. He wore all black and ... a sword. Probably a fake one, but why should he 'wear' it to school? Was he such a nerd? Hmm. The third boy caught your attention the most, with his curly brown hair, his pointy ears, his chocolate brown eyes and his smirking smile. No, no, no. Stupid, stupid  (y/n)! You scolded yourself for thinking like this. If you're not careful you'll have a crush before you can say latinoelf. Oh goodness. He really looked like one. You grinned at this thought.

,,Attention please! Welcome our three new exchange students. Piper Mclean, Nico di Angelo and Leo Valdez." He turned to them. ,,Would you like to tell something about you?" The girl, Piper, stepped forward a little. ,,I'm Piper, I moved here this weekend. I'm 16." The pale boy, you guessed was Nico didn't step forward. ,,I'm Nico, I'm from Italy, though I live a few years in America already. I'm 15." He spoke monotone and looked bored as hell. I raised my hand before Leo could begin to speak. Nico looked confused. ,,yeah?" He asked. ,,Why, the heck, do you have a sword with you?" The 3 of them looked kinda alarmed. The rest of the class giggled. ,,Imagining things again        (y/l/n)?" You glared over to the boy who said that. The teacher had a blank expression. Leo didn't have time to tell anything. ,,Well, um, you ... you can sit there, beside Miss Smith." He sent Nico to Dalia, she was kinda a bitch. Her table was in the same row as yours, but there were 2 tables between you. Nico sat at the opposite site, so he was on the fourth place away from you. ,,You, sit there!" The teacher pointed at the table behind you. Piper took her place.
,,And you can sit beside Miss (y/l/n)." Your teacher sent Leo on your right side, thank god not blocking the view out of the window, but the view of Dalia and her best friend, Sarah.
Still slightly embarassed you wanted to ignore Leo, but he had other plans. ,,Hey ... Hey! ... psssst!" You looked at him, slightly glaring but also curious. ,,what?" He smirked. ,,Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" You blushed slightly but didn't want to let him win. ,,Actually, I scratched my knees while crawling out of hell." You winked. His eyes widened a little and he blushed. You thought it looked cute as fuck. You heard Piper giggle behind you, so you smirked, satisfied with your work. ,,Sooo, you're a badgirl?" Leo continued after he calmed down. You were interrupted by the ringing noise of the clock, signalling that there is a fifteen minute break. ,,Miss (y/l/n) would you please stay in here?" The teacher asked. You heard Dalia giggling as she walked out of the classroom. ,,Uh... of course." You sat down again. You saw the 3 new exchange a glare as they walked out of the classroom. As the door was closed and you looked up at your teacher, he wasn't there anymore. Instead a monster stood there. It looked like how you always imagined a manticore would look like. With the tail of a scorpion the body of a lion and the face of a human man. ,,A manticore, really?!" You screeched.

It looked confused. ,,You know what I am? That doesn't happen often. Well. YOU'LL DIE ANYWAYS!'' He roared. The door shut open and the 3 new guys stood there, each with a sword or dagger in their hands. ,,I FUCKING KNEW THAT YOU HAD A SWORD, HA!" You couldn't hold that comment back. You weren't really scared of the manticore. Nico looked at you with a bitch face. You decided, since you did not have a sword, that you'll just sit there and wait. So you watched them fight the manticore. You found out that Leo could throw fireballs. Relatively he was fire resistant and could produce fire. They fought until the Manticore ended up as glittery dust on the ground. ,,Well. That was fun! Yeah okay, a bit boring since I just watched but whatever." You were a blabbering mess. ,,You weren't afraid. Why? You should be." Piper asked. ,,Hm? Ohh, yeah well that happens often. Why didn't you come earlier? You seem to understand what's going on." You asked. ,,Uh. Okey. She's definitely weird." Nico stated, whispering, but loud enough for you to hear. He got an elbow from Leo. ,,Thanks for defending me Darling." You winked at him.
He blushed. ,,Okey. You knew that was a manticore, right? Soo you know greek mythology?" Piper asked, trying to clear everything up. ,,Oh, I LOVE greek mythology." You answered. Blinking confused. ,,But it isn't real, I mean yeah the monsters okay, but aren't they like science made thingies or something? I mean I always wondered why no one seemed to see this, maybe it's only visible for dyslexic people." You talked and talked and talked. ,,Listen (y/n). Gods? REAL. Monsters? THE SAME AS HUNDRED OF YEARS AGO. You? A DEMIGOD!" Nico decided to be a bit more harsh so you would listen. ,,Oh. Yeah that actually explains a lot." You made a face like you thought about things. ,,Well. You're going to Camp with us now, okay?" Piper asked. ,,Ohh a demigod camp? EXCITING! But I must say goodbye to (m/p) oh and pack some things." You took your school bag and waited for everyone to be ready.

Leo got to show you around the Camp.   You talked and flirted much, he didn't seem to blush so hard anymore. But both of you blushed slightly everytime someone used a pickup line. It was dark now, and the Campfire started. You sat next to Leo and Annabeth, with whom you connected as soon you got to talk to her. Chiron, a centaur, you never thought you would meet one, stood in front of everyone, he talked about things you didn't understand yet. Until, suddenly a light shone all around you, people gasped and everyone stared at you. You looked above your head to see the sign of
(g/p). ,,All hail (y/n), daughter
of (g/p)!" Chiron bowed down. ,,AND SOON-TO-BE GIRLFRIEND OF LEO!" Piper shouted. Making everyone giggle and heat up both your and Leo's face.

A/n:
Well I'm not 100% satisfied with this but, well... this has 1,200 words. I really did like the answer to the pickup line (the one with hell you know?) I made this different than most I saw. Like, you know already much about the greek mythology and everything.
