Potions wasn't your favorite subject, it reminded you much of what your muggle friends told you about chemistry. But you didn't hate it either, it was actually on the third or fourth place. You were chatting with Luna, your best friend and roommate.
You had potions together with the Slytherins, but you didn't mind, everyone always talked shit about them but you saw behind these snobby facades. And you were always nice to them, no matter how mean they were to you, how many times they threw your books to the ground, how many names they've called you. You were nice, friendly and helpful. And soon you were friends with most of them. They didn't care that you were a muggleborn and they didn't care that you weren't in their house. Not anymore. Of course some of them still didn't like you, but they weren't openly mean to you anymore, too many Slytherins were on your side. And you felt bad for them. Felt bad that they have the parents they have, raising them to be deatheaters, to be ignorant and feel like they're better than anyone. Felt bad that anyone hated them, they're still kids when they come to this school and as soon as they're in Slytherin everyone treats them like shit. That's not fair. It definitely isn't. "(Y/n)?" Luna's soft voice interrupted your thoughts. "Yes?" You asked. "The lesson started." She smiled. "Oh, Thanks." You focused on Slughorn and as he listed the ingredients you knew what potion was on today. He didn't name it, but you read all about it. Amortentia. Well it's going to be funny, you were sure almost no one knew what it was and you smiled. "Also I want Slytherin and Ravenclaw working with each other. Groups of two." Luna stood up and smiled apologising and you smiled back. Before you could stand up and look for someone to partner with some one sat on the place where Luna  sat only seconds ago. Malfoy. You forced a smile. "Oh c'mon everyone sees that this is forced." Draco said smirking. Your smile fell. Draco was one of the only Slytherins you couldn't ''tame". You didn't know why and it made you kinda sad. You always felt your eyes and thoughts drawn towards him, thinking about his smirk, his smile, ohh his lips, his face, eyes and hair, the way he grimaced when the famous Harry Potter was mentioned. "What do you want?" You asked, trying to let your voice sound friendly. "I want to work with you. You're intelligent. You've probably read about this potion snd you probably know what potion this is." He said, not meaning it as an insult. "I know what potion it is. Do you?" You raised an eyebrow. He sighed. "I have no clue. Tell me." His eyes staring into yours. "No." Your voice was firm. "Now let's start."

As you stirred in the last ingredient Draco scrunched up his nose. You raised an eyebrow, totally focused on him. "What?" You asked. "Do you wear perfume today?" He asked. Your eyes widened slightly. "What do you smell?" You asked as nonchalantly as possible. He glanced over to you, as if he wasn't sure if he could trust you, but then he decided to tell you. "Chocolate, the fur of a creature and perfume, I guess." You were shocked. These scents described you. And as you realised this you wondered why you didn't have a scent. Not even the smell of something you liked, like chocolate or books. It took you some time to realise that you, in fact, smelled something. Draco. His hair gel, his cologne, grass and a faint smell of blood and tears. You scrunched your eyebrows together. Does this mean...? "Now. What potion is this?" Slughorn asked. Still confused as fuck you raised your hand. "Yes, miss (y/n)?" "It's amortentia." After answering you just looked down. You wrote notes down, trying to ignore Draco who you saw (out of the corner of your eye) stared at you. You quickly packed your things as the lesson ended and tried to get to your room as fast as possible. You had some things to figure out and now that Draco knew that you knew... you didn't want to be confronted by him. It'd be awkward. But as you reached a somewhat abandoned corridor you were pushed into a wall by non other than the famous malfoy. Your bag fell on the floor and you stood caged, back against the wall and the arms of Draco on each side of your face. Your breath got caught in your throat, your heart beat faster you glanced to his lips, only a short second before you could gather a bit power. "What did you smell?" He smirked, liking his position in power. You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath. And then you snapped. You didn't know how this could happen, you were always in full control of yourself but now it was just like someone had turned your brain off. Clawing your hands into Draco's robes you pulled him closer. Smashing your lips against his. Biting his lip softly only to let your tongue slip into his mouth as he gasped. Your lips moved in sync your tongues exploring your mouths. His hands moved to your hips, yours to his hair and neck. He pulled you even closer, making you moan slightly. "What the-" you and Draco jumped apart at the sudden voice. Your face red as a tomato you faced the golden trio. Ron being the one who had spoken up. Harry was just staring at you and Draco like he didn't understand the world anymore and Hermione well, she smirked. She probably knew about you liking Draco before you did. "Umm." You cleared your throat. "Hey guys." Your voice was higher than usual which made Draco smile amused and glance over to you. "So... wait... so you guys... are a thing?" Harry asked. You laughed embarassed. "I guess?" You looked at Draco. "Yeah?" He said. You looked back to the three. "Congrats." Hermione said, winked and pulled the guys with her, leaving you and Draco alone again. You fixed your hair a bit and took your bag. You turned around to see that Draco smiled. A genuine, sweet smile. "So.. do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked, a bright pink on his cheeks. You stepped closer to him. "Of course. Yes." You gave him a sweet and short kiss. "Well at least I know what you smelled." He joked. You just smiled and took his hand.
