"Push me higher!" I squealed happily as I swung high up into the air on the new wooden swing my father had just built. I swung back down and felt hands push me again as I soared back to the ground then up again into the sky. I was laughing out of fright as well as happiness and adrenaline. I was afraid that I would fall but my dad would never let it happen.
I saw my mother sitting on the patio with a book. Her glasses on the tip of her nose as she read the words silently. "Mommy!" I called to her. She looked up and smiled. Without thinking, one of my hands let go and I waved at her. I didn't realize that I was swinging down. I flew off the seat as my other hand let go. I screamed loudly and my arms and legs kicked and wiggled, looking for something to grab hold of.
I hit the ground with a loud thud. My arm was under me and there was a sharp pain in my ankle. Everything hurt as I screamed out in pain. My dad and mother had ran up to me yelling my name. Dad flipped me onto my back. "We have to get her to the hospital." He said to my mother and he picked me up. I lifted my head enough to see my arm was weirdly shaped. My ankle was at it's side, broken. I felt my eyes began to become heavy from pain. I passed out as my dad placed me in the backseat of the car.

Screaming, darkness, and a feeling of hot intense flames filled the room. But I didn't get burned. I let the darkness embrace me. I knew I was floating in mid air and I knew there was no flames. Black sand circled me as I hovered. Doctors and nurses kept checking to see what was the problem but ended the same as my mother and father: dead. Lying on the floor as the sand picked bits of their skin off.
After what seemed like a lifetime I finally blacked out. When I woke up I was restrained and the walls were cell bars. A man had come in and told me that my parents were dead. He made it quite clear that I killed them too. I hadn't cried. I couldn't. No tears could express my pain.
Next thing I know, I'm been driven to an orphanage. The orphanage I would spend the next 10 years in. And in those 10 years I'd be put in my place and taught that this world would never accept difference...
