Chapter 2

Kira P.O.V

I sat on my couch as Aviana sat next to me with her head laid on my legs. We were wrapped up in warm blankets and I stroked her hair as she watched tv.

We were watching Spongebob. Atleast she took something off of my mom and I. The door bell rang and I got up to answer it.

"Hey." Liam greeted and I smiled at him walking back inside and to the couch. Aviana instantly looked up seeing Liam. "Liam." She beamed getting up going towards him.

"Ava." He smiled engulfing her into a tight hug. "We should go to the mall today Ava . What do you say?" I asked her.

She smiled widely nodding furiously and Liam and I smiled. "Kira I'm leaving. I have work." Liam said giving me and Ava a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

The second year of college I had developed feelings for Liam but it's like he's stuck on Paige or something. I don't know.

Ava and I went up stairs after Liam left to brush our teeth. While we were brushing our teeth Ava spat toothpaste on my night gown by accident. "Eww." I said making a disgust face and she laughed. A full hearted laugh.

I got us both ready leaving our hair wavy putting on some gray  sweats with black tank top and a black hoody. I then grabbed our black coat and put it on.

I put our black matching huaraches on going downstairs with Ava close behind me. "What to eat??" I asked picking Ava up and placing her on the kitchen table.

"Some good Frosted Flakes." She said looking elegant with the cutest smile. "Coming right up madam." I said picking her up placing her around the table in a booster seat and processed to fill our plates with Frosted Flakes.

I set the plate down infront of us both before we bumped spoons eating away. When we were finished I grabbed my handbag and Ava's going out the door and to my car.

I buckled her up in the back getting in the front and we were off to the mall. Ava and I sang along to highschool musical in the car.

She loves it. She's watched it like a hundred times. She was so cute singing seeing as she stumbled over most of her words with that cute baby voice of hers.

When we reached the mall Ava and I shopped at forever 21, kids palace and Burlington to get Ava some new bed sets and more of our favorite socks.

We got ourselves some matching pair of sun glasses too when we went to forever 21. "Ava. You hungry?" I asked and she nodded. She looked so tired even though she enjoyed herself.

We bought clothes mainly for her. We went back to my car throwing our shopping bags in the back. Ava and I went back to the food court and she got a hot dog while I got a hamburger.

"Ava , don't stuff your face." I said smiling at her. I could believe she was daughter. I loved her so much. She had mostly of Zayn's features. The dark hair, cute eyes and nose. We  went home after finished eating and Ava fell asleep in the car on the way back  so I had to bring her inside along with the shopping bags.

I dropped everything slamming the doors close before going up to her room.

I took her coat, hoodie and shoes off before tucking her in bed kissing her forehead. "Love you." I whispered before leaving her room going down stairs.

I threw my hair into a messy bun taking my jacket off and shoes before heading to the kitchen. It was now 6:10.

Ava and I spent all day at the mall form 12:00 to 5:00. Ava wasn't gonna wake up for now so I took the time to do some files I had to complete for this one company.

I made myself some coffee sitting on the couch. I started writing a whole essay to the crouton company discussing the benefits and non - benefits investing with my company.

It took me about three hours. Ava had school today but I wanted to spend the day with her normally we would do our nails , hair or something but today we went shopping.

A knock on the front door was heard and I walked to it opening it to see Liam. "You look stress." Liam commented picking me up bringing me back to the couch. Where my stuff was laid on the couch.

He moved my lap top a side laying me down gently staring into my eyes with those gorgeous blue eyes of his and that smile that played on his perfectly pick lips.

Liam had been there for me since day one. "You can't stress your self out Kira." He said. "I know , I was just doing some work for the company." I sighed out. We both were inching closer to each other and before I knew it our lips connected.

It felt good but not as good as Zayn. I still remembered. I could never forget he was my fist love.

Even though it broke my heart seeing him kiss that Gia girl. She was way more beautiful than me so I knew why he moved on.

Liam and I pulled away gasping for air. I did like Liam. It's true. Maybe not as much as  I loved Zayn.

I smiled at him as he looked down at me. This was my first step of forgetting Zayn.

That one little run in with him will never happen again. I like Liam and I'll focus on him because Ava liked him too.

I was moving on with my life at this point. I don't feel anything for Zayn anymore. I told him to move on and forget about me and he did. It would never happen again.

Zayn and I , it's just in the past and I'll keep it that way. I like Liam now and he makes me happier than ever.

Liam and I cuddled on the couch and he tucked my head under his chin kissing my forehead before I know it I was fast asleep wrapped up in his arms.
