Chapter 13

It's been a month. A month since Zayn had confessed. I was at work filing some paper work. I was tired and I hadn't ate in like four days.

My phone rang from my bag and I shuffled to get it. I raked through my bag before I became face to face with my phone. I looked at the caller I.D to see that it was Paige.

"Hello?" I answered. "Tell me your not still at the office and going home." She said.

"I'm not. I'm on my way . I just stopped to get some snacks for Ava." I said In rush trying to sound convincing but I failed.

"Liar. Now get your butt home." She instantly blew out  into the phone. "Okay okay . I'll be home in a hour ." I said defeated. "Good." She said and with that she hung up.

I gathered some of my papers grabbing my stuff before leaving my office. I made sure to lock it. The place was dark. Everyone left.

I walked  down the corridor going to the exit but a light instantly came on and stopped me in my tracks. I sure as he'll didn't here anyone come in here.

I check the time to see that it was 11:05. I walked down the corridor going to where the light had switched on. The room was empty. That was weird. I turned the light off before turning around ready to leave but I bumping into someone.

I screamed but I didn't hit the floor. I looked up at the person who caught me. "Liam?" I called. "What are you doing here?" I asked getting out of his grasp.

"The question is what are you doing here?" He narrowed his eyes at me . "Your suppose to be resting." I blushed turning away before rubbing my temple.

"I know. I lost track of time." I said. He stared down at me with those ocean blue eyes with deep concern. "Are you sure your okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine." I said giving him a tiny smile. "I could drop you home . I just came back to make some copy of these for a client because  my printer was acting up." He said.

"No I'm good. I'll drive." I said smiling before giving him a kiss on the cheek. We bid our goodbyes before I left. I drove home and on the way I picked up some snacks for Ava.

When I got home it was 12:00 . I was so tired. Ava was at paiges house so I was home alone. I threw my car keys on the table before texting Paige that I was home.

I flickered on the light in my room putting my hair into a bun before grabbing some clothes going to my bathroom. I took  a bath to trying an relax my muscles.

After an hour of just sitting there I got out and dryer myself off before wrapping myself in the towel. I stared at myself in the mirror. I looked awful. I had bags around my eyes and my skin looked dull. Everything looked dull and lifeless. I tried smiling but it felt point less.

I threw on my clothes combing my hair out an putting my hair in braids. I hopped into bed and drifted off to sleep.

Zayns P.O.V

I watched Gia as she danced around the room like a maniac. I chuckled giving her a thumbs up. "That was beautiful my love." I said in a fake British accent.

"Well thank you ." She smiled coming to my side plopping down on my lap. "Did I ever tell you how much I love you?" She said smiling bright. Her eyes twinkling and it was the most breath taking sight I've seen since kira. I haven't seen her in a month. My heart ached

I've always picked aviana up from school but Liam or Paige are the ones who always comes by to pick her up.

"My my , you have not." I said. "Well I love you , I love you, I love you, I love you." She said planting kisses all over my face. I smiled up at her running my hand through her hair.

"I love you more." I said giving her a long passionate kiss on her lips. I picked us up off the couch running up stairs to our bedroom. It was late and we had a long day tomorrow.

Gia squealed as i tossed her on the bed. "Zayn ." She called out. I chuckled at how scared she looked. I pulled my shirt of before getting into bed and pulled gia close. She snuggled close to me burying her face into my chest.

I wasn't sure what I wanted?? I loved her. Why couldn't I accept it. But I wanted gia too. I loved Gia

Wait...

Did I really??.. with that thought I drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
