Chapter 7

Zayn P.O.V

I was back home. I had a match tonight. I really loved Ava and I wanted to stay with her forever but I couldn't. I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that I had a child and Kira kept this away from me.

She was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. All I wanted to do was love her and protect her and be there for her and not let her grow up like how I did.

Without a father.

Seeing Kira I realized how much I've truly missed her. My heart beats a thousand more times when I'm with Kira and I don't know what my heart is saying anymore. I don't know if I love her.

"Zayn?" Gia called from the other room as I entered the house. "Yeah." I answered walking to the bathroom. She was taking a shower.

"You okay?" I asked and I heard the shower turn off then the curtains were pulled aside revealing her face.

"Zayn you don't just go out and stay out all night then come back asking if I'm okay." She argued and I could hear the anger in her voice. She then gasp stepping out the shower. She was wrapped in a towel though.

"Zayn what happen to you? Your face looks beaten." She asked holding a hand over her mouth. "Nothing." I respond looking at the floor clenching my jaw.

I should never speak of what goes on out the ring. Ever since I became a UFC fighter I'm obligated to act a certain way. When I landed in the U.K my life changed a little. I joined this brutal under grown club.

Little did I know is that they fought to murder. They fought with weapons. It's like I was drawn to this place it's possible drawn to my death.

"This is not nothing." She slightly rising her voice. "Gia just stop. You don't have to worry about me." I said with a slight raise of my voice and she flinched.

"Nice to know I'm your girlfriend but you won't tell me what's going on with you. Ever since that night you've changed Zayn why??" She yelled and I saw tears fall down her cheeks.

"Gia." I said going closer to her. I was about to touch her but she smacked my hand away. "Find a different girlfriend if you don't want to tell me anything." She said pushing past me. "Gia." I called.

"Gia." I tried a second time but she clearly ignored me. I loved Gia more than anything but I can't say as much as Kira. What am I doing? I shouldn't be thinking of Kira.

She was about to slam our room door shut when I stopped it. "Zayn don't even." She warned trying to keep me out.

I applied pressure trying to push the door open but she kept pushing back. "Gia just let me talk to you." I explain.

"Well I won't come out or talk to you if you don't stop pushing." She shouted and I heard her voice crack. "Promise you'll come out?" I said.

"Promise." She replied. Hearing these words I stopped pushing and she locked the door shut this time with the lock.

I sat next to the door slumping down. "Gia I'm not leaving you." I said after a long 5 minute of sitting there. I heard no answer from the other side and bowed my head.

"I'm not gonna lose someone else I love." I said running a hand through my hair. "I'm sorry. Something big just turned up from my past that I didn't even know about."

"I'm destine to love this little girl she's my daughter and seeing her for a split second I wanted nothing but to love and protect her." I ran a hand through my hair sighing . "I have a child that I didn't even know about for 5 years. That girl you see Kira. She was my first love but trust me on this Gia I don't love her anymore, I love you." I explained trying to keep my voice strong.

I sat in silents for 2 minutes. "Zayn I support you a hundred percent but stop pushing me away." Her soft voice say from behind close doors.

"I don't want to push you away. You were there for me for the last 5 years when i was broken." I said smiling at the memory.

"It was hard to get you to stop sulking." I heard her say causing me to smile. "Even when we had that arguement about who should get the last pizza." She added and I heard a light laugh.

I remembered that we literally fought over that last pizza. "Fred had to put us in time out." I laughed too. "Yea but you came back and ate it while everyone was sleeping." I heard her say laughing and I laughed at this because Fred literally chased me around the house trying to beat me.

Our laughing died down remembering this memory. I heard shuffling on the other side of the door and I stood up.

The door opened and Gia stood there all dressed with her hair in a messy bun. I smiled at her and she returned one.

She held a sign up with my name across it. "It's quite nice to meet you and see your face." Gia said in a face British accent and I chuckled as she smiled at me. "Take my hand, you shall accompany me to my match tonight beautiful." I said in my fake british accent also.

"It would be a pleasure." She said walking over to me taking my hand. I turned staring into her eyes before kissing her a long passionate kiss.

Kira P.O.V

"Can I get back to you on that please?" I asked into the phone. "You could call on Monday I will be at work.. good day." I said before hanging up.

I had to rush down to my office today so Zayn left because he had a match tonight. Ava was walking behind me as I walked trying to contact someone. "Ava , could you walk up. Let me hold your hot chocolate for you." I offered taking it from her palms.

We walked inside my work building and workers automatically crowded me. "Send the info to my office." I said loudly as I pulled Ava infront of me letting her walk.

We got to my office and I unlocked it so we could enter. I gathered some papers sitting in my chair.

I dialed a number hearing it ring before someone picked up. "Joe, what do we have?" I said. I got my pen and paper writing down info I've collected.

I called 5 more of my workers collecting more info. "Mom , I'm hungry." Ava said frowning. "Did you not eat the fries I bought you." I said.

"Ava." I groaned. "I'll get you some food." I said. A knock on my office door caused me to look at the door.

"Come in." I said and I was so relieved to see my brother and Octavia. "Brandon." I smiled going over to hug him. "Look at you Octavia." I said tucking a piece of hair behind my ears before kissing her forehead.

"Speaking at look at you, Aviana." My brother said going over to hug Ava and she smiled hugging him. They haven't seen each other for a while now.

"Aviana." Octavia said when she saw Ava. "Octavia." Ava squealed. They hugged each other and I smiled at how cute they were.

"What's up?" I asked turning back to my brother. "I stopped by to say hi. I'll be here in a few months." He explained.

"Brandon." I said pressing my lips together. "I know I'm sorry but this job has me traveling like crazy." Brandon said in a apologetic tone.

Brandon stayed with Octavia for like five minutes more before he left. Aviana and I were going back home when we stopped for some pizza and bread sticks with our favorite lemonade.

When we got home we almost ate all the pizza before taking a shower and knocking out.
