Chapter 14

Kira P.O.V

"Ava. I missed you so much." I said hugging her. "I missed you too mommy." She said as we pulled away. "Mom can we go to Zayns match tonight??" She asked .

"Av." I said. "Please. I really want to go ." She piped up. "Okay." I said defeated. I knew she loved Zayn and they have really grown to love each other a lot.

It was 8 am. Paige had brought Ava over because she had work today. It was Saturday so I had a day off until Monday.

Ava and I made chocolate chip pancakes with a fruit salad. We ate and filled our stomachs. After we were finished eating I helped her with her homework , then we watched an episode of Dora the explorer and spongebob.

We basically chilled the whole day. Mother and daughter day to be exact. It's been a while since we spent time together. It was now 2 o'clock when I heard my doorbell ring. Ava had fallen asleep and i was watching The Faults in our Stars.

I got up off the couch going to the door. I swung it open to be revealed with Liam. "Liam??" I questioned. "I came to check on you." He said nervously. I smiled at how nervous he looked.

I leaned against the door frame with a smile on my face. "That's sweet."

He let out a breath while a smile creeped to his lips. Without any words spoken to each other. I moved aside and let him enter.

I closed my door as Liam headed for the kitchen. I followed behind him bringing Ava and I's dirty dishes . "You have  the best Orange juice." Liam said getting the Orange juice out the fridge.

"You do know Ava would slaughter you if she found out you drunk her orange juice." I said raising an eyebrow at him questionably. "I'll take my chances." I shook my head  at his response throwing the dishes in the dish washer.

"Lets make cake. It's been a while." Liam said looking at me. "Your right. Top cardboard . Get the three chocolate cake mix and nine eggs." I smirked.

"Yeah." Liam smirked rubbing his hands together. He went for the cake mix while I got the pans and cake mix spoons. "Open the box." I cheered up and Liam did exactly that.

"Now pour." I said . Cake mix fell all over my head causing me to squeal. "Liam." I squeaked out. All he did was laugh. He was so caught up in his laughter he  didn't see when I picked the eggs up mashing them on his head. "Ha." I giggled as his laughter died.

"Now it's my time to laugh." I said between laughter as his face was masked with a serious expression. Eggs rolled down my face and I gasp.

Liam ran to the other side of the kitchen in laughter as I tried aiming eggs at his head. He ducked all of them and some how his hit me. I ran after him jumping on his back bashing the eggs on his head.

I tried running away but instead I slipped and fell on my back. "Kira. " Liam came to my side quickly kneeling down over me. "Got you." I said before pouring flour all over his head. I giggled at how ridiculous he looked and to my surprise he started laughing.

"Damn you." He laughed laying next to me. We laid there laughing staring at the ceiling. Our laugher later died down and we laid there in a comfortable silence.

I turned my head in liam's direction to see him staring at the ceiling with a small smile. I smiled to my self thinking about all things we've been through. I kept my eyes glued to the guy who had stuck with me through thick and thin through the past five years.

I studied his features. They were so perfect. His jaw line, those pink lips, those steel color baby blue eyes. Just perfect . Wait what?? Eyes.

Reality kicked in and I realised he was staring at. I blushed before looking away. I saw him propped him self up next to me. He slightly turned my face to look at his.

"Why are you so beautiful?" He asked staring into my eye. I looked away from him as my face grew hot. "Don't." He whispered bringing my face back to face his hovering above mines.

"Thank you." I whispered slightly staring into his eyes. "For everything. " I smiled up at him. "No problem. After all you mean the world to me ." He winked. I smiled at his words . We laid there for a moment too long with smiles glazing our faces.

My eyes flickered to his lips as his flickered to mines. He licked his lips as we inched closer. Close enough that our noses were touching. He stopped before our lips touched.

"Can I kiss you?" He asked. My stomach did a tiny flip. I smiled at his words before holding the back of his head. "Didn't need to ask. " I replied smashing my lips to his. It felt too perfect. Too amazing as our lips moved in sync.

"Mom. " a voice called. Liam and I pulled apart as we scrambled off the floor and on our feet.

Ava stood in the door way rubbing her eyes. "Ava." Liam said nervously. "Why are were you kissing mommy?" She asked with a frown.

"Av -" I started but I was cut off. "I kiss everyone like how I kiss you." Liam smiled at her saying. He went over to her picking her up kissing her cheek causing a smile to light up her face.

I leaned against the counter watching how cute they looked. I could tell that she really loved Liam. He acted so much like a father figure towards her, treating her as his own daughter.

Liam tickled her as she laughed out in that cute baby laugh of hers that never failed to put a smile on my face.

I walked over to them standing next to Liam. "You guys look gross." She said giggling. Liam pouted before tickling her again.

"Hey Ava . Why don't you join us." I said reaching for a egg. I cracked it before dropping it over her head causing her to scream as it rolled down her hair to her face.

"Mom." She giggled out before Liam took her off the counter with a smile on his face. "Ohh no Kira she's gonna kill us." Liam joked causing my eyes to bulge as I ran from her.

Liam , Ava and I spent the day together and it felt perfect. Too perfect. Almost like a family. He was tugging at my heart strings and being with him I felt like myself.

I felt complete. It felt perfect and unreal. I realized that I needed Liam.

I needed him buy my side . He made me feel a thousand times better and that breath taken smile that lights up his face causes butterflies to fill my stomach.

I loved him. I loved Liam.
