Chapter 11: Life isn't Fair

"Hello" I said into the phone when I picked it up and answered it, I was about to drop my phone. I felt like crying but I couldn't Cody was in front of me talk into my phone. I hung up and threw myself facedown onto the couch crying on the pillow. Cody was patting my back asking what's wrong, but of course I didn't say anything. he didn't leave my side, even when I did sit up so I could breath better.

After I stopped crying for now I decided I should tell them what the nurse told me. "Cody" I said with my eyes closed to hide my tears "yes" said in almost a asking way. "Mom's... Mom's gone" I said opening my eyes looking at him to see his reaction. Cody got up and ran to his room without saying a word. I stood and walked up to my room as well, Kitty followed me up to my room.

When Kitty walked in my room and jumped on my bed I slammed my door and locked it. I stomped over to the genie vase and picked it up with tears already down my face. "You where supposed to fix things" I screamed at the vase. I sat it on my bed and sat in the chair by my window to look away from it. I buried my face in my hands, my eyes burned my face like crazy, but I never cried this hard before.

I felt a wet nose touch my elbow, so I moved my hands and looked down to see Kitty looking at me. She was looking at me with her sweet icy blue eyes. I formed a smile d saw her wag her tail out of the corner of my eyes, so I reached down and hugged her. Kitty put her muzzle on my shoulder as if returning the huge. I heard someone knocking on the door but I didn't move, I stayed right their hugging Kitty.

My eyes started to feel droopy, so I let go and threw the blanket over and flopped on my bed. I put the blanket over me and Kitty jumped on the end of the bed by my feet. I fell asleep like five minutes after that, at least I think it was five minutes. "Where am I" I thought as I touch the trunk of a tree feeling the bark against my palm. I think I'm dreaming, I think anyway I don't know any more.

I started walking down a dirt path, I thought I saw kitty leading me down the path but again I don't know. As I kept walking I could make out of what I think is some kind of house. I touched me left arm with my right hand and my arm felt sweaty or wet. My feet were sore as if I've been walking non stop for hours or even days. I blinked and locked around as I walked to who knows where.
