Ophichus was snatched away from the memory he was recalling by Silver. "Ophichus, we have to go..." He said in a low voice. "Ya of course." Ophichus cleared his throat and stood up.
"Ok guys, I have one question for you all, would you rather be stealthy or just go for it?" He asked. "Though going for it would be faster, stealthy would be more efficient." Scorpio said. "Ok, stealthy it is." Ophichus nodded.
He ordered everyone to follow him until they stopped at the main door of the spaceship. "Um, I thought we were being stealthy..." Leo whispered. Ophichus looked at him. "You're a human right? I have heard of a useful technique known as ding ding ditching, does that ring a bell? No pun intended." He asked.
Everyone snickered at the way he made it sound. "Ya what is, ding ding ditching?" Silver looked confused. Aries sighed. "My friends, let the master show you." Aries pushed them out of the way. "Where is the door bell on this thing?" He started searching.
"It's over there." Silver pointed out. "Wow they actually have door bells, how sophisticated." Aquarius was surprised. "Of course we do! We aren't THAT uncivilized." Silver looked at her, offended. Aries suddenly pushed the button and then ran off. "See ya later suckers!" He dived into the bushes.
Everybody scrambled to run. Ophichus bumped into Silver and they toppled over. The door hissed open and at the last second Silver grabbed Ophichus and dragged him under the ramp. They heard footsteps clank in the metal above them.
"Are you stupid?!" Gemini was about to straight up strangle Aries. "We didn't even discuss what we would do!" She continued. Aries rolled his eyes and ignored her. "Oh shit, Silver and Ophichus are under there." Aries said under his breath.
Silver was breathing heavily. Ophichus had his eyes tightly closed, not wanting to see what may become of him. "What the hell? Who was that?" It was the commander's voice. Silver's tattoo began to glow a blinding red. He silently gasped and tried to cover the glow with his hands but it was too bright.
"Oh silver, I know you're here." He sang out loud. "Damn it all." Silver grumbled. Silver looked at Ophichus's frightened face. The commander would kill him immediately but at least for Silver, maybe, just maybe, he would get away with only a lashing.
Ophichus took one look at Silver's face. "What are you doing?!" He whisper yelled. "Hopefully making the right decision." Silver gripped his arm. "No, I can't lose you, not again..." Ophichus said sadly.
"Don't worry." Silver reassured and stepped out. "Ah there you are boy, playing tricks are ya?" The commander gave a hearty chuckle. Silver looked at the ground. "Wow, you have grown up a lot, it's been...what? 6 years?" He still looked at Silver with a menacing glare.
"Yes sir...six years..." Silver mumbled.
"Oh no! Silver!" Aquarius tightened. "What are you doing! You can't go out there!" Leo grabbed her waist and pulled her back. "I promised him that he wold be safe! I promised that I would protect him!" Aquarius yanked his hand off and ran.
Leo cursed quietly and watched her intensely. Aquarius pressed her body against the metal ship. The commander was still speaking with Silver and she thought it was the perfect time to slip past.
Silver saw Aquarius sneaking past and decided to keep him busy. "So, sir, did my sister come?" He gulped. "Yes you're sister was better then you as always and told me you two found people coming here to destroy us, she told me she went ahead and came here." The commander explained. So his sister hasn't completely ratted her out.
Aquarius was gone when he finished explaining. He saw the others sneaking in, slowly, their lives were in his hands. "Um...uh." He went blank. "But...I do have to punish you for, well, I don't have a reason, I just feel like it." The commander sighed.
"Now shall we go in?" He put a rough hand on Silver's small back and harshly shoved him in and shut the door. Silver almost sighed in relief when he saw everyone go in.
"Alright where is the damn energy reactor thing?" Pisces clenched her fists. "This map looks like a 3 year old drew it." Virgo tried flipping it several times, it didn't help.
Ophichus snatched it from her hands. "That's because it's written in Zorfinean and the ship's layout is too complex." He growled. Virgo put her hands on her hips looked at him with anger. "Stupid teenage hormones." She muttered under her breath.
"Calm down dear, he is just a child, he will relax soon." Scorpio massaged her tense shoulders. Virgo was about to turn and punch him but the massage felt so good and so relaxing, she let him continue.
"Well we know who is going to win the award for best husband and wife." Gem rolled her eyes. Virgo realized that Scorpio did sound like a father and was almost impressed by it, ALMOST.
"Taurus...I'm scared." Cancer whispered to him. "Don't worry." He smiled and without thinking kissed her softly. He pulled away and said. "You have no idea how long I wanted to do that." He sighed. "That sounds like a line from a movie." Cancer giggled and pecked his lips again.
"That's because it is." He smirked.
Aquarius was too focused on other things to notice Leo behind her. "The map said this way right?" She began walking on her toes to avoids sound. "You are just like and assassin aren't you?" Leo whispered. She continued to ignore him and walked.
Ophichus told everyone to follow Aquarius. "This ship is too big..." Gemini complained. "Who are you?" A tiny voice asked. Everybody froze and turned around. It was a small girl with pigtails.
"We are Zorfineans." Ophichus suddenly said. "You look like the boy from my book!" She grinned excitedly. "Book?..." Ophichus gulped. She proudly held out a small picture book written in their foreign language. He looked at the title, 'The boy who touched a human.'
He wanted to rip the thing in shreds but the girl would probably tell her mom. He flipped to the end of the book and saw it was a pop up of him and his family hanging from the tree.
He breathed heavily and with shaky hands gave her book back. "Ma told me if a human touches me, to kill it, and pa told me if I touch a human they will kill me." She looked sad and scared.
Ophichus forced a smile and said. "Listen to your parents." and ran off, tears threatening to fall. Aquarius tried to grab his shirt but he slipped from her fingers and he ran off.
"How are we going to find our way now?! Without the map we will be wandering in circles." Aquarius groaned. Leo saw the little girl still standing there. "Hey, do you happen to know where the reactor is?" He kneeled down to her eye level.
"You are humans aren't you? But you guys are different." She tilted her head. Leo didn't answer the question. "The reactor is upstairs, near the commander's room, there are guards everywhere." She said quickly and then left.
"Are all Zorfineans that smart?" Leo blinked and turned to everyone.
