After the little...thing...Taurus had everyone continued their training, the day was almost done and people were starting to get scared. Pisces concentrated on a single rock, she felt the need to, she felt energy pulse through her.
The rock levitated but it wobbled. Pisces exhaled sharply and the rock fell to the ground. She groaned as a small headache came on. She didn't let the pain get to her and moved to a slightly bigger object. She stares hard at the bigger rock, she struggled to lift it but it was off the ground a few inches.
It fell with a thud as she panted, her energy drained. Then she let out a sigh of relief, she wasn't going to die. Leo kicked the dirt angrily, he couldn't figure out what his power was, he was so dead.
He went to the worst person possible to ask. He snuck up behind Aquarius as she was subtly staring off into the distance. She sensed his presence and grabbed his arm. "What do you want?" She said roughly. He gasped at the sharp pain in his shoulder, with a flick of her wrist she could dislocate or even break it so he decided not to piss her off.
"I need your help finding my power." He said through the pain. She squinted at him and released his arm. He sighed at the relief and rolled his shoulder. "Help? From me? Why ask me when I can't even find my own?" She looked sad.
"Isn't like fighting your skill? It seemed to just come to you." Leo asked. "It might be part of it, but I feel something is missing...." She thought. Leo suddenly felt a shiver run down his back.
"What the hell was that?" He gasped as it crawled back up his body. "What was what?" Aquarius looked at him in confusion. "It feels like something is crawling over my body." He let out a small yell.
Aquarius looked at him closely. His skin seemed to fluctuate between transparent and solid coloring. "Your...uh...skin." She pointed. Leo looked as the color faded and then came back and then all at once his entire arm faded. "Oh my god." He was scared.
"Don't worry." Aquarius grabbed where his arm should be and felt solid muscle under her fingers. "It's still there." She assured. "I'm like Aries." He blinked. "No not really Camo and invisibility are different things." Aquarius said. "How so?" Leo asked.
"Well camouflage can only happen in certain surroundings like you can't hide in plain sight with camouflage invisibility can pretty much let you hide anywhere, but..." She grabbed a hand full of dirt and poured it on his invisible arm.
The dirt seemed to float in mid air. "This makes it easier to find you." She rubbed the dirt off of him. Leo wanted to test out his new powers. He felt his whole body shudder as it disappeared. Aquarius looked surprised, she looked around but he was right in front of her.
"Leo?..." She raised her fists. "You know those are useless when you can't find your enemy." He smirked. She kept them up, trying to following his moving voice. "Leo stop." She ordered. He didn't answer back.
Leo grazed his fingers along her arm. She gasped at the sudden coldness and swatted her arm with her hand. She winced at the stinging sensation. He did the same again but this time ran his fingers across her neck.
She shivered and tried grabbing at something but all she caught was air. She suddenly felt a light weight on her shoulder. "Don't. Move." Leo said, making her freeze. "ALRIGHT EVERYONE GATHER!" A loud voice shouted.
Leo reappeared and sighed. "Aw man, bad timing." He jogged out of the wood. Aquarius took a small breath and walked back to the dirt field. "Alright did everyone succeed?" The scientist asked.
Everyone seemed to nod even though Aquarius was lying. "Don't lie, one of you haven't, now who is it?" The scientist put his hands behind his back. Leo knew it was Aquarius but the last thing he wanted to do was rat her out.
"Alright...if nobody will step forward." He snapped his fingers. Ophichus stood next him, unblinking and bored. "What?" He seemed irritated. "Tell me who hasn't found their power." He ordered. Ophichus sighed but nodded and complied.
He walked up to everyone and placed a hand over their heart. He moved down the line until he reached Aquarius. He put a hand on her heart and closed his eyes. He seemed to flinch at something but when he opened his eyes he was calm.
"It's her sir." He said and walked away. Aquarius gulped as he walked over and pulled out a dagger. She felt her blood race as the skills started to kick in but she kept still for the moment.
"Oh, I thought you would be promising." He sighed and pressed it to her neck. "Get your hand off of her!" Leo growled. The scientist looked over at him. Aquarius took the chance to snatch the dagger and hold it to his neck.
"So you found part of them? I guess that's acceptable, you pass." He said quickly. Aquarius shoved him away. He cleared his throat and straightened his lab coat.
"Well, tomorrow will be the intermediate level, you will fight against monsters and learn how to work as a team, oh and the attacks are real so it's possible to die." He opened the door and let them out.
"Shall we eat some food?" He asked. "Im starving." Taurus put a hand on his stomach. He led them into a grand cafeteria that had a variety of food lined up on a bug table. Taurus licked his lips and grabbed a plate, everyone else followed.
Once they got their food they say down at a table, Leo intentionally sitting next to Aquarius. "Thanks for the distraction." Aquarius whispered. "No problem love, I think we will make a great team." He munched on some chicken.
Aquarius rolled her eyes at the nickname but couldn't help but smile.
