The smell of fresh chlorine burned Aquarius's nose and frankly she liked the smell of chlorine. She stared at the bright blue water and stuck a toe in. She shuddered and stepped back. This was the worst part, getting in.
"Are you gonna go or am I gonna get old?" Leo put his hands on his hips. "Sorry...it's cold." Aquarius said. "The key is to not think and jump in." Leo smirked. "That's like saying the key is to not study and ace an exam." Aquarius made a poor analogy.
"Look people are just jumping in." Leo pointed out. Aries whooped and cannonballed into the water, Pisces following after him. Taurus and Cancer were sitting on the steps, the water was up to their chests and they chatted.
Gemini saw a diving board and couldn't resist. Cap watched her as she did a perfect dive into the water. Libra sat by the water in a chair, letting Sag splash her playfully with water.
"How about we jump together?" Leo held out a hand. "How about no." Aquarius looked at his hand. "Oh come on." Leo pleaded. "You just want an excuse to touch me." Aquarius crossed her arms. "I am not saying I don't but I wanna have fun, we are going to be sent out into the wilderness of a dying planet and fight whatever the hell is destroying our planet." Leo explained.
Aquarius wasn't going to lie he had a point. She took a deep and steady breathe. For some reason her eyes wandered to the tattoo on his chest, she smiled this time. "Alright." She grasped his hand. "Jump!" Leo and her jumped at the same time and plunged into the cold water.
Aquarius surfaced and ran a hand through her hair to get it out of her face, Leo did the same. "See that wasn't so bad." Leo wiped his face. "It's freezing!" Aquarius gasped. "Give it a moment." Leo assured. Virgo sat on the ledge of the pool, swishing her legs in the water. "BOO!" Scorpio grabbed her legs.
She gasped in terror but then relaxed at the sight of his face. "Geez that scared me." Virgo inhaled. "Not coming in?" Scorpio kept himself afloat. "Nah." Virgo shrugged and smirked, she kicked water in his face. "What the-." Scorpio saw the playful smile she had and splashed on her as well.
"Hey!" Virgo squinted and finally jumped in. She splashed him in the face but then went underwater to avoid his.
"Wanna join them Ophichus?" The scientist offered. "No, I have to work anyway." Ophichus turned and went down the hallway. "Hey, wanna wrestle?" Gemini asked Aquarius.
"Sure." Aquarius shrugged. "Great! Now get on his shoulders." Gemini pointed at Leo as she began getting on Cap's shoulders. "Wait what?!" Aquarius blinked in surprise. "Haha let's do this." She balanced in Cap's shoulders as he tightly gripped her legs.
"Oh no I am not doing THIIIIS!" Before she knew it she was up in the air. "Get me down!" Aquarius put her hands on his wet head. "Fun remember?" Leo reminded. Aquarius couldn't help put put her fingers through his hair and try to steady herself. "Ow!" Leo complained, as revenge he gripped her legs tighter.
"Ow hey!" Aquarius bonked his head. Cap was already approaching them. Gemini tried grabbing her. "Back back!" Aquarius shouted at Leo as he moved back to dodge Gemini's grab.
Leo, knowing what she would say quickly moved forward to allow her to grasp Gemini. Aquarius grabbed her arm and tugged her into the water. The resurfaced laughing. "That was so much fun!" She went back to Cap.
"Can I get down now?" Aquarius asked. "Hm I don't know..." Leo said slowly. Aquarius flinched her body backwards, landing in the water. She came and unexpectedly her face was inches from his.
He looked into her eyes, glinted with lust but the rest warm and open. Aquarius trailed a hand on his chest, stopping at the ink tattoo. He roughly grabbed her wrist but he didn't move it.
"What about her?" Aquarius gulped. "If you think, that I am just replacing her with you, then you don't understand my feelings." Leo whispered. Aquarius was unsure of what to do at this point.
She ducked underwater, trying to clear her mind. Leo followed her under. His golden blonde hair would be slightly darker due to the chlorine, it gracefully floated in the water. Aquarius had her eyes shut, holding her breath.
Leo sensed that she needed air so she grabbed her shoulder and pulled her up. Aquarius gasped in the air and coughed. "What were you trying to do?!" Leo yelled. "I'm sorry I was trying to clear my head, it was so quiet I forgot about everything for a moment." Aquarius sighed.
Leo grabbed her chin and pointed it up to his face. "I never want you to forget me." He said.
"So how is your back?" Cancer asked Taurus. "Great actually, almost no pain when I bring my wings out." Taurus said. "That's good." Cancer floated closer to him.
"I can't believe that we are going to have to live out in the wild." Taurus tried wrapping it around his head. "Ya me too, do you think...that those things out there, are really trying to kill us?" Cancer asked. "I don't know for sure, but as humans....I mean...half humans." He corrected himself. "We have to protect what's ours."
"Ya you're right." Cancer put a hand on his cheek and kissed him softly. Taurus gasped suddenly but he took over and kissed her back. After pulling away Cancer blushed. "Sorry..." She said. "Would it be wrong if I did that again?" Taurus tilted his head.
Cancer laughed and shook her head.
"Oh look who is thirsty." Libra pushed up her sunglasses, which she wore INDOORS. Sag laid on the chair next to her, completely outstretched and was relaxing.
Libra glanced down his body. "Whatcha looking at?" Sag opened one eye, catching her in the act. Libra quickly turned her head, embarrassed.
"Sorry I-" she was interrupted.
"Times up! Go change we will be out in 30 minutes!" The scientist said loudly. Everybody groaned but obliged.
The battle was soon to begin.
