These 3 Words

Liza's POV

I didn't know what to do. David seems too embarrassed to kiss me in front of his friends, but they were all staring  and I wanted to impress him. I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. He blushed, but obviously didn't hate it. We started to dance and everyone went back to minding their own business.

David: Hey Liza, you want to come outside and make a Vine with me.

He knew what Vine was? I loved Vine, that's where my career started. I was so shocked and excited.

Liza: Wha... What?

David: You don't know what Vine is? It's this app where-

Liza: No, I love Vine. My career started on Vine. See I'll show you.

I showed him my account and my most popular vine, the butterfly one.

David: Oh my god, that's you?! I love that Vine.

Liza: Yea that's me.

David: Gosh I hardly recognized you with your makeup on.

Liza: Come on, lets go make some vines.

We leave the house without being noticed and go sit on he sidewalk. Luckily the sun was still out because I had an idea.

Liza: I know. You can say, "Where do you wanna eat, Sunshine?" And I'll start yelling at the sun.

David: Ha! That would be funny. Ok let's do it.

We did the vine and it came out so well. I had to internally lecture myself for getting to comfortable with his arm around me.

Liza: Oh my gosh! I just realized. That Uber had all my stuff. All my clothes. And now I'll have to walk back to my apartment by myself. This is horrible what am I going to do.

David: Liza, relax. I'll walk you to your apartment and we'll figure everything out there.

We walked to my apartment and when we got there we decided to watch a movie. I somehow convinced David to watch Harry Potter with me. I was watching it looked over to see him staring at me. He had the slightest bit of a grin on his face. God why was he so cute.

Liza: David I-

David didn't even let me finish. He leaned in and kissed me and I kissed him back. I felt all the tension in my body fall. And I was lost in the world of me and David.

David: Liza you are the most beautiful, confident, and amazing girl I've ever met. Will you be my girlfriend?

Liza: Yes, yes, yes David!

I was so excited. He liked me he really did. And I liked him too.

Davids POV

I can't believe she said yes. I guy like me should never be able to get with a girl like her. She was way out of my league. She was beautiful, sweet, and talented. I loved her so much, but it seemed too soon to say it.

Liza: Hey I know! Why don't we go to Target. I can buy some things that I'll need and we can make a video.

David: Ok sure.

We walked to the Target. It was pretty close so it didn't seem unsafe to walk. We passed this dark corner and a man was walking toward us. I didn't like he way he was looking at Liza.

Man: Hey girl. Come here and be a real man.

The man smacked Liza right in the butt. He did not just smack my girlfriend.

David: You have no right to treat her like that. A real man would treat a woman like property.

I lost all self control and totally decked the guy. He was strong, but I was mad. He gave me a busted lip and a bruise by my eye, but I sent him running off with a bloody nose.

Liza: You didn't have to do that. Now look at you, your all bruised up.

David: Liza I promise you right now, that I will always be there to protect you. No matter what.

Liza: Thank you David... I love you.

She said it, it wasn't too soon? I was so excited I kissed her right there at the street corner.

David: I love you more.

And I meant it because no one could ever lie be someone like I loved this person in front of me. Even though we had just met, I loved her and she loved me and that was all that mattered.
