Goes back in time to when Liza first moved to L. A.

Liza's POV

I am so excited. My YouTube has taken off and I'm moving to L. A. That's where all the people who matter live. I think my dads still mad at me for dropping out of college. But I know he'll love and support me no matter what I do.

Dad: Liza come down with your bags so we can say goodbye to you.

Liza: Coming...

I run down the stairs and say goodbye to my mom and dad. My Uber beeps his horn outside and I know it's time to go. My parents help me get my bags into the trunk and I climb into the car. The driver was really nice. I got to the airport and the flight went well. I got off the plane, grabbed my luggage, and went to find my new Uber driver. He was holding I sign that had my name on it. He did not look as nice as the last one, but hey don't judge a book right? I went up to him and he gave me a little shove toward the door, I pushed back a little but then he grabbed my jacket and practically dragged me to his car.

Driver: Get in now.

Liza: No I'm not getting in with you.

Driver: Oh yes you are.

He pulled out a gun and pointed it at me. I decided that I would not be able to get away, so I had to get in the car.

Driver: Good choice.

He drove me all the way to the parking lot of my new apartment, but when he parked he didn't let me out.

Liza: Ok this is it you can let me out now.

Driver: I'm not gonna let a pretty girl like you get away. Don't you wanna stay and get to know me a bit.

He leaned in so close to my face that I could smell his breath. I screamed and punched him. He drew back a bit, but as soon as I reached for the door he locked it and grabbed my arm.

Driver: Come on. I'm not that bad, just rough around the edges.

I twisted and tried to get away. He kissed my neck and then tried to kiss my cheek. I kicked him as hard as I could but he just grabbed me tighter.

Liza: Help! Help!

Who was I kidding. No one could hear me. I was trapped here. But then my prayers were answered. I heard a small knock at the cat door beside me. The driver froze, he knew he had been caught. I took the opportunity to pull away from him and look through the car window. A cute guy with long hair and braces peeked in at me. I went to open the door, then remembered it was locked.

Liza: Help! The doors locked, can you break the window?

He nodded and kicked the window really hard. It didn't break the first time, but he kicked it again the glass case tumbling in. He helped pull me out and the driver was still in the car frozen with fear. I knew he would stay there forever though. lol began to run and the cute guy followed me. When we made it far enough away to loose him the guy grabbed my arm.

David: What happened? Who was that? Are you ok?

Liza: I'm fine, he was my Uber driver. I just moved here from Texas and he was driving me to my apartment. He had a gun and and...

I began to sob. I didn't usually cry in front of people unless I was really comfortable with them. But I felt like I connected with this guy, like I'd known him forever.

David: Hey, hey don't cry. Your safe now. I'll protect you. Come on I'm on my way to a party with my friends. Wanna come?

Liza: Ok... yeah that'd be nice.

David: Ok. My name's David by the way.

Liza: I'm... I'm Liza.

David: Ok lets go.

It was really cute that he was trying to comfort me. I liked him. His braces made him look adorable and his long hair was all messy out of the sides of his hat.

David: What, is there something on my face?

Oh gosh, I must have been staring at him. What do I say, what do I do, Liza what is wrong with you control yourself.

Liza: Um... no. You just, you look kinda familiar.

Good cover, hood cover Liza. We kept walking until we were in front of a nice house. Music was blasting from inside. This was not my kind of gathering, but David made me feel comfortable.

David: Oh I almost forgot, how old are you?

Liza: Um... I'm 18, why?

David: I'm 18 too. My roommates are older though, so there is gonna be alcohol. Well at least now I won't be the only one who can't have it.

Liza: Yeah

Oh my god. Alcohol, my parents are gonna kill me. I fake a laugh and a smile, but inside I'm panicking.
