The rest of the year was filled with missions and few unfuses for Mack. But then the war came. Felix was able save Mack and Yami, but the rest of the Crystal Gems were shattered. As they traveling through the Kindergartenthey found an Amethyst that stayed in the ground for to long, and recuted him. They the new gem the name Wade. Not long after the finding of Wade, Felix met a very pretty human girl named Marzia. Not a while after Marzia got pregnant. Felix decided it would be best if he gave his gem to Minx, his baby girl. Felix had asked Mack to pull out gem of hit stomach, seeing as Mack was the strongest. Mack was shaking and crying badly as pulled out the gem. He placed it on Minx's stomach and the gem glowed, accepting its new form. Yami was the worst of the group, he didn't talk for 2 weeks straight. When the gems first went over to see Minx, Yami sat in the kitchen and didn't talk for the whole trip. When they got back to the temple Mack pulled Yami aside. "Listen dude, I miss him too. But you can't go without seeing his kid." Mack explained to Yami. "Why can't I?!" Yami hissed. "I loved him, and no one can give that feeling I had with him!" Yami cried. "Listen, its about Minx now, not Felix. You have to let him go." Mack said calmly as he patted Yami's back. Yami nodded slightly and went to his room. Mack sighed and went to his room, flopping on his bed letting sleep consume him.
