The rebels attack was right on schedule. "Rubies! Fuse!" Mark shouted. The rubies fused and ran at Felix. He smirked, like a flash of light the rubies were unfused two of them were 'poofed'. That left Mark and Jack. "Thank you Mark, you have done your best." Jack said calmly. He knew this was gonna happen thought Mark. I can't let him be 'poofed' he thought. He ran at Jack. He tackled him. They tumbled on the floor. There was a ray of light. The two were fusing. No one had ever seen a fusion between two different gems. They stood up. What is going on? Jack thought dizzily. I don't know Mark replied in thought. They looked down. "Wh-What I-is this?" They're one voice spoke. They unfused, roughly falling to the ground. Everyone looked at them. The rebels were still there. "Lets go" Felix whispered to Yami. They jumped off the arena leaving everyone to stare at Mark and Jack. They stared at each other and everyone. "HOW DARE YOU FUSE WITH A MEMBER OF MY HIGHEST COURT" Blue Diamonds voice boomed. "YOU SHALL BE SHATTERED FOR THIS" He yelled. Mark bowed his head, accepting his fate. Jack grabbed hand and ran towards the edge of the arena. "Jack what are you-" he was cut off by Jack jumping off the arena.
