Home not so sweet home

One week later

I can't believe in one hour I get to see my best friend again. No one has any idea that the surprise is Maya. I want to know her surprise. I've got everything set up and everyone has already arrived. Farkle seems really nervous and keeps avoiding me, it's odd!

Maya's P.O.V.

I'm absolutely terrified, I'm pacing back and forth in my hotel room checking the time as it slowly goes by. Aspen and Berkeley are down for a nap but they need to be woke up on a few minutes. 

Half an hour later

They're both awake now and I've got them ready in Christmas clothes, they look so adorable. Aspen got Josh's hair and Berkeley got mine. They keep asking where we're going but i just can't find the strength to tell them everything. They'll start asking about their father and I don't want to cry before I see Riley again.

I get in my car and start driving towards Riley's apartment. When I arrive I park outside and just sit and remember all the memories of everyone as a child and how I ruined everything. I feel a tear roll down my cheek. I wipe it away and pull my self together the best I can. Aspen and  Berkeley hold onto each of my hands as we go up the elevator. I text Riles to tell her I'm here. We start walking until I stop in front of Rileys door. As I go to knock the door swings open and I see Riley with her mouth open starring at me. 

-Wow Peaches you've gotten so beautiful and grown up

-Thanks, so have you

-Would you like to come in?

-Sure

I walk in and everyone stares at me. I hear a glass break and look up to see Josh starring at me from the kitchen.

-Hello everyone long time no see...

Everyone's quiet until I hear Josh ask...

-Who are those cuties with you?? Did you steal them!! ( He lets out a small giggle)

I look at Farkle terrified this was something I was hoping wouldn't get brought up. Dark Le gives me a small nod. I take a deep breath and say...

-This is Berkeley and this is Aspen, they're... mine, 

I say under my breath.

-What!!! (Everyone says)

-How old are they?? (Riley asks)

-Three years old...born October 23

I hear another glass break and see that it's Josh again.

-Josh stop breaking glasses (Corey says)

-Sorry! Maya, bay window? (Josh) 

He grabs my hand and we head to the bay window. Riley looks really confused. I look at Farkle as I'm leaving and he gives me a worried look. We get to Riley's bedroom and he sits me down on the bay window. 

Josh's P.O.V. 

I have children and she never told  me she just left without saying a word!!

-So, who's the father Maya?

She stays quiet.

-Maya I'm not stupid, I know I'm the father...the time matches up but when I looked at Aspen I knew for sure... how could you not tell me??

Maya starts crying. Shit I should have bee a bit calmer.

-I thought you would have left me, hated me and I couldn't live knowing you don't want to be in our children's lives...it was a drunken mistake, I'm sorry!!

-Maya it wasn't a mistake and I wouldn't have left you...I truly love you and I will help with these children

-Oh, I thought you hated me, why did you never tell me before that you loved me...you knew I loved you back?

-I was going to but you left before I got the chance

I lean and and kiss Maya, I can feel her smiling. She stops kissing me and I look confused.

-What will everyone say about you being the father, what about Riles?

-Trust me Maya, everything will be alright!!

-Okay, I love you!

-Love you to!

I lean in and kiss Maya one last time before taking her hand and walking back out to everyone.

-What was that all about? (Corey)

-My question is who's the father? (Lucas)

-Well...I am ...

Everyone looks at me and Maya in shock.

-Maya...(Riley)

-Riles I can explain...

Maya gets cut off by Corey and Shawn 

-Youuuu.....

-Me...

Corey and Shawn both get up at the same time and start running towards me. The only thing I remember after that is falling to the floor and Maya calling my name.
