Chapter 2 -

It was Monday and I had to go to school today. I dreaded it. I still haven't told Abby about what happened at the party and I don't think I will. EVER!

I sighed getting up and getting in the shower. Five minutes later I got out and blow dryed my hair and brushed my teeth.

I walked back into my room and changed into a grey short sleeve shirt and green skinny jeans with white vans.

I checked myself over in the full body mirror and smiled. I got a text from Abby saying she was outside.

I grapped my backpack slinging it over my shoulder and walking out taking my phone with me.

"Hey hey hey!" Abby said as I got outside. "Hi." I said putting my head down staring at the sidewalk as we had already began walking.

"Okay Rae, what's wrong?" Abby asked. "You've been ignoring me all weekend. What happened at the party?" I sighed in frustration. "Nothing happened OK! Why won't the world just go away!" I exclaimed.

I began walking faster but Abby caught up to me. I groaned. "Rae. You're not getting rid of me that easy tell me or I'll start screaming in five seconds."

We was now outside school so I didn't want to make a scene.

"1.......2.....3.....4..." "Okay. I'll tell you but not here." I said covering her mouth making sure she wouldn't scream.

I grabbed her wraist and dragged her all the way around the back of the school. I made sure nobody was around.

I took in a deep breath. "You have to promise not to tell anybody." I said. She nodded. "I promise..okay what is it?"

I was about to say it when I had a feeling somebody was evsdropping. I had an idea. I whispered everything in her ear.

She screamed. "You know what this means right?" she said. I shook my head no. She whispered in my ear. She said I had sex with the famous Cameron Boyce.

"No..no I didn't." I said backing away a little. She took her phone. She started typing away and then showed me a picture of Cameron.

"Is this what he looked like?" She asked. "I nodded. "Told ya so." she said as we began walking back to the front of the school.

We was already late. We turned the corner and bumped into Kenzie.

I looked at Abby who shrugged. "Um.. Kenzie was you evsdropping?" Abby asked raising an eyebrow.

"Um..no." Kenzie said bitting her lip. "I knew somebody was listening. That's why I whispered everything. Honestly, I've always knew there was something fishey going on with you." I said walking away. Abby followed.

"Look, It's not what it looks like. I just... wanted to know what you was hiding..please don't hate me." Kenzie said getting in front of us stopping us. "I don't hate you. I'm just not your friend anymore."Abby said. "And," I cut in. "It looks like your a snake."

We walked around Kenzie who stood there like a lost puppy. Finally, don't have to pretend to like her. She was the only person I had a problem with and now, I had a reason.

We walked in seperate directions as we had different classes. I walked into Gym.

"You're late." Mr. T said. "Go change and then do 30 laps around the gym." he blew his whistle and passed out basketballs to everyone.

I groaned and changed into my gym uniform. I walked out as the bell rung. Really! I went back into the locker room and changed back into my regular outfit.

I finished just as everyone rushed in to take a shower. I walked out as Mr.T stopped me.

"Detintion after school 1 hour." he said. "Whatever." I said walking out. I then remembered I forgot my backpack in the locker room.

I walked in and everyone stared. "Just forgot my backpack." I said getting it out of my gym locker and left.

As the door closed I heard conversation start up again. That was weird.

I walked into Algebra. I have to take it twice everyday for this grading period because I failed it last grading period. We was into the second grading period so we had about 6-7 months left of school.

I took a seat and took out my notebook and a pencial getting ready for a long 80 minutes of notes.

Everyone began to rush in. Class went by super slow. I looked out the window because I was seated in the far back next to the window.

I then saw Kenzie outside smoking a cigarette. I scrunched my face. Kenzie doesn't smoke.

I raised my hand to go to the bathroom. I walked out the classroom and then left out the school to stop Kenzie from getting addicted.

"Kenzie, what are you doing?" I asked as I turned the corner. "What do you care." she said taking a puff from her cigarette. I took the cancer stick from her hand and stomped on it.

"Why would you do that, it was my last one!" she shrieked. "How many have you smoked?" I asked.. "Two packs." she said. "Why do you care? I only started when you and Abby stopped being my friends. You guys are all I had. I'm not exactly what you call popular. Unlike you, I have nobody now" she said walking away.

"That's your fault" I muttered walking back into school then taking my seat back in algebra.
