Oh No

Max's P.O.V

We opened the door to find, a letter. It's from Harvey and my friend Dylan. He says that dad wants to move back to Berkshire after the summer but mum wants to stay here in America. 'Why didn't we know about this?' I wonder. The last thing on my mind was the decision Harvey and I would have to make. Who do we want to stay with? I read the letter quietly aloud so the parents won't hear. "How do we convince your dad", asked Meghan turning pale.

"This is just wonderful isn't it", asked Harvey sarcastically.

I had nothing to say. I still can't shake the feeling of needing to be in Berkshire. Could I take Meghan with me? No. What can I do?!

Meghan's P.O.V

I could tell Max was thinking about something because he was quiet after reading the letter.

"Hey Max, what's up?", I asked curiously.

"Um, nothing... It's really nothing. I'm good", he said nervously and secretively.

"Maaaaax", Harvey stretched the A sound, " What are you thinking about?"

He didn't respond that time he just gave Harvey a look that said 'I can't tell you in front of Meg.' Harvey nodded. I knew what the look meant and I got worried but then we were called for lunch. It was 3:00 pm, a little late for lunch but I don't care. I'm just worried about Max

Harvey's P.O.V

Max was being strange. I know he is always a little strange but aren't we all? This was a different type of strange. We decided we would eat quickly so we could talk privately. Without Meghan. After we ate we both ran upstairs while Meg was talking to Tilly and Leo.  "Ok Max, what's up?!", I ask sternly.

"I... I don't know! I just can't shake the feeling that I need to be in Berkshire!", he says rather loudly.

"Shhh, Meg will hear and then your cover is blown. Now are you going back or not, because I'm definitely not! If you don't stay, there will be no more Max and Harvey!", I say. I immediately felt bad for saying this but I want a fresh start. No I need a fresh start. New experiences are going to happen in America and I'm excited to see what happens.

Max's P.O.V

There will be no more Max and Harvey. That is the worst thing he could have said... But it's true, if I leave and he stays there isn't going to be 'Max and Harvey'. Now I have a decision. Great...

Meghan's P.O.V

The boys left the lunch table rather quickly while I was talking to Tilly and Leo. I wonder why they left but I don't follow. Something about following them seems wrong this time. I just sit on the couch and let the kids pick a show. I hear Max start to shout and start to get the urge to get up. But I don't. Then I hear Harvey say something like 'No more Max and Harvey!' I know they're famous I've known since they told me when we first met. They've been famous for a while now so this worried me. I finally decide to walk upstairs.

"I don't know Harvey! If I go back I'll always visit. I feel like I'm missing something.", Max says.

"Fine Max go back but think about what you are leaving here. Meg. Me. Mom. Maybe even Tilly and/or Leo. Just think about it."

What does Harvey mean? I need to find out.
