(Warning: Suicide implied, Miscarriage implied and just lots of angst, I cried a little writing it, so if that triggers, don't read!)
He stumbled into the forest once again even after the last three years of doing it. Ginny had left him when she realised she couldn't replace his drug, his obsession. She also couldn't deal with the werewolf inside him that howled in desperation for him.

Harry collapsed onto his knees when he finally arrived at his sanctuary. No one understood why he had come back here every night to just sit in front of a large Boulder. That's because they didn't understand what that Boulder was to him. It had all their memories from before the battle, before all the gore and death. No one had understood his pain. He lost his soulmate. Half his soul was missing because he couldn't save him.

"Hi honey. I'm home. I missed you all day...everyday." Harry choked on his tears as he spoke. "I'm still waiting. Hoping. I mean, you can't really be dead right? You told me you were the strongest werewolf ever and that you'd take care of me. You promised, that we'd- that we'd- we'd have a family together. But I had to blow it, didn't I? Not only did that snake bastard take you and his soul away, he took our precious little baby. We didn't even know then either. I feel...I feel like I failed you. I destroyed my life, I use all my spare time talking to a fucking boulder! But..." Tears were running down his face like a stream. "I could never stop talking to you. Even if you aren't really there. You're my mate. I'm your little wolfie like you said. And home is where the heart is..." Harry looked up at the boulder. The one he'd sit and talk to his mate on, lay back on starry school night against his warm body and falling asleep without nightmares after so long.

"And you'll always have my heart Fenrir Greyback, you stupid prideful alpha." Harry gave a strained smile.

"I'll always love you, no matter how crazy people think I am." Everything flashed green before the forest was silent once more.
