The next morning I was out of bed and dressed long before the rest of the household was stirring. Wearing my dark pink gown with my pale pink kirtle. I tiptoed down the stairs, shivering at the icy chill of the stone floor.

I decided to go apologizes to my mother so I went to her chamber.

Coward that I was, I knocked on the door. "Mom..its me..."
She opened the door and I saw a Delphox wearing a firey red gown.

"Good morning, mother. Im sorry I displease you yesterday." I looked down. She smiled and gave me a hug.

"Its alright. I have a surprise for you!" She said in excitement. But on the other hand, I wasnt. Every exciting things to her were the worse to me. I gulped and was ready to face the surprise.

Mother smiled smugly as she adjust the lace on her sleeve. "Ive begun engagement negotiations. We've tentativelt scheduled the wedding for the end of this summer. We are making sure you evoled into a Braixen when before you get marride."

My heart sank. Marry Prince Squirtle? I couldnt believe that anyone might think that we are suitable for each other.

"But I cant marry Squirtle! We dont love each other!"

My mother gave me a look so cold that I stepped back a pace. "What does that have to do with anything." I was shock for what my mother had said.

"Stop whining and be happy that he wants you. Not many princes would be willing to marry someone as awkward as you. If only you'd been born as a growlithe (her dad is an Arcanine) your father and I wanted! Maybe it could have made something of you."

Her words poked in to my heart. They wanted a growlithe instead of a fennekin. "So if I dont marry Squirtle Im useless to the family..." I said as I was about to cry. I cant believe my ears. Tears slowly run down my cheek and dripped on the floor.

I ran out of her chamber. I could hear the footsteps of my mother. She was chasing after me. I wanted to run away but my mother knew better as I kniw myself. She asked the gaurds to block me. I paused and saw a window. "If Im useless to you is better that I die!" I shouted at her and open the window. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I was going to jump out.

But it was my only way to escape. I took one deep breath and jumped out.

"FLAIRE!!!" I heard my mother shouted at me. She stuck her hand out of the window to grab me but it was to late. I closed my eyes, ready to visit Mister Death.

Froakie

I saw an orang figure falling out of the window. I wemt to get a closer look at it.

Was that....Fennekin!?

I quickly ran towards her to catch her. She slowly opened her eyes and saw me holding her.

"Fro-Froakie" she said with quivers in her voice. I nodded and she hugged me. "Im so glad your here" I blushed and saw something sparkled in the bush. It was her tiara. I picked and gave it to her.

"No..its yours...I dont need that stupid thing anymore!" She pushed it over to me.

Suddenly, we heard a footsteps coming towards us.
It was one of the soldiers.
Fennekin quickly pulled Froakie to signal him that this wasnt good. Froakie nodded and pick Fennekin up and jumped into the trees. Slowly.. dissapearimg in the forest.
