The Super Diaries Book One

We met at CC Jitters Barry looked sad. We sat down he pulled out a chair for me like a gentleman and then pulled one out for himself and sat down.
"Kara when I was a little boy my mom was murdered, but not by any man there was another speedster like me there was red and yellow lightning everywhere my dad was wrongly  accused and no one believed me. Now's my chance to find out who killed my dad he's out there. Somewhere"
"Barry I'm sorry I wish there was something I could do"
I grabbed his hand gently feeling the warmth of it.
He looked up and smiled at me.
"Well if you ever see a speedster in town besides me let me know"
"I will"
We were quiet for a while enjoying our coffee. I realized I was still holding Barry's hand, but I didn't let go.
"Barry do want to go do something later? If you want to..."
"I'd love to Kara, but you pick where we are going"
"Oh I have the perfect place Barry Allen"

We where at the amusement park.
"I didn't know Supergirl went to amusement parks"
"Shhh you'll blow my cover"
"Your already blowing your cover"
"How?"
"Glasses"
"Shoot I swear I put them on!"
I looked up and saw Barry with my glasses.
"I'm so quick you didn't even realize I took them''
"Very funny Barry"
I took them from him both of us laughing.

We've went on every ride one of them was the supershot which dropped us down really fast making me lose my shoe. It fell onto a man below us.
When we got off I immediately appoligized to the man who found it funny saying that wasn't the first time he got hit by a shoe today.
"Way to go hitting people with your shoe" Barry said.
I puched him in the arm.
"Ow! Hey just because I'm metahuman doesn't mean I can't feel pain"
"You heal quickly"
He laughed and smiled like he always does that always makes me smile back.
"So Kara what haven't we done yet"
"We haven't been on the fairis wheel"
We got on the fairist wheel we where at the top when it jercked to a stop really hard.
It jerked so hard that it threw me on top of Barry.
"I'm sorry Barry"
We laughed like we always do and I got up and sat back down next to Barry.
I looked up at him and he turned to me.
Our faces are now inches apart.
"Kara if I said I wanted to kiss you right now would you let me"
I smiled and leaned in.
Our lips touched softly.
I wrap my arms around him as he does the same.
The kiss is deeper now his hands going through my hair.
Then the fairis wheel started moving again.
We pulled apart still looking at each other.
"Kara may I ask you something"
"Yes?"
"If we ever raced who'd you think will win?"
"Me"
"Well of course you'd pick yourself"
I elbowed him as he elbowed me back.
We got off the fairis wheel then left.

We are now in front of my apartment.
I noticed that it was only 7:00pm.
Barry must of noticed too.
"Come on it's still early we could go do something"
"Like what?"

Barry took is to the roller skating ring.
"Uhhhh..." I said.
"What's wrong"
"Well in all the years my parents were so protective of me that I didn't really go anywhere so...I don't know how to skate..."
Barry looked shocked.
"Then I'm gonna teach you"
I put on my skates Barry helping me get onto the skating ring.
Luckily there weren't too many people.
I kept falling holding on tightly to Barry. I even took him down with me a couple of times.
Barry laughed and took my hand in his.
"Relax Kara just breath"
I took a deep breath as Barry helped me get back up. Our hands still together.
"I'm gonna let go know Kara"
"Barry!''
He let go letting me glide ahead of him.
I was skating I was actually skating!
I spread my arms out it felt like flying.
I laughed as Barry skated up next to me taking my hand once more. I put my hands in his face bringing him down to kiss me.
"Thank you Barry"
He smiled and leaned down to kiss me again then retaking my hand and twirling me around. I was suprised I didn't fall.
It felt like we were dancing because I think we were.
We skated until it closed.
If I didn't mention earlier neither of us owns a car so we walked here, but once we got out the door Barry picked me up off my feet and not even in a second we where at my apartment.
"I change my mind Barry I'd think you'd win"
"I'd hope so"
He leaned down to kiss me putting his hand on my cheek rubbing it lightly.
"Goodnight Barry"
We kissed again .
"Goodnight Kara"
He smiled and turned around walking away. I watched as he went. When he was at the end of the sidewalk he turned around and waved at me then went superspeed.
