A few days have passed and Theo and I are back at school. We talk occasionally in the hallways, and the few classes we have together. We have grown very close and I can see that Ashley isn't too fond of our friendship, but I could give two shits of what that girl thinks. Honestly I think that's all she lives for; chasing after a boy who doesn't want her, and to try to ruin her ex-friend's life.

I'm currently sitting in my english lit class, and ugh shoot me. This day has gone by so freaking slow. Theo isn't here today, he's probably watching over his sister today, since he told me that she's sick. He really does know how to liven up my day. It's so boring without him.

As I was caught up in my own thoughts, Mrs. Cass, our principal walked into our classroom, and started to ramble on about something that no one will care about. I pretended like I was listening, but last night I go barely any sleep, so here I was, dozing off in the corner of the room.

The door shut making a powerful noise that brought my attention to the front of the room. A girl walked in looking shy, well that was an understatement. She looked familiar, which made me take a second glance at her.

Oh. My. God. No way!? I got super excited, I yelp, which made the entire class pull their focus over to me. I just couldn't help it. My best friend just walked into my class. But why is she here? I don't understand, she didn't tell me she was going to be here. Right now I didn't even care. I shot up out of my seat. I was screeching with joy, as I ran toward her with my arms open. Jasey was smiling and met me halfway into our hug. The room was quiet and everyone, and I mean everyone, Including Mrs. Cass and Mr. Dean, were staring at us.

I pulled away. "Jase, what are you doing here?" I was smiling and is glad that she's here. It hasn't been the same without her. Yeah I had some friends in my classes, but she is my best friend. She is the sister I never had and no one could ever replace her.

She opened her mouth to reply to my question, but instead, Mr. Dean cleared his throat, to get the class' attention.

"Ladies please take a seat. Jasey you can sit at the empty seat in front of Kenley." He was annoyed, and then he mumbled, "Which might be a mistake."

I snickered at his comment, but I was not going to have him move my seat, or Jasey's just because I couldn't control myself. I'm always the good student, I never got in trouble, and I'm not going to start now.

The rest of the day went by, and Jasey stayed after school with me, since today I had soccer practice. She knew one of my friends, Abigail, from a get together I had a few months ago. They got along pretty well, so while I was at soccer practice she acquainted herself with the friend group I had formed. We were training for the big game we have on friday, and let me tell you, I got my ass kicked on the field. I looked over at the picnic table we sit at and saw the most bizarre thing. Dexter was talking to Jasey. What the hell? Dexter never talks to us. Not that there's anything wrong, but I know the reputation that he has, the little games he plays, and he must be damn wrong if he thinks that Jasey is going to be his next victim, because I sure as hell won't let that happen.

I walked up to the table and gave them a smile. "Hey guys." I looked over at Dexter, "Oh, hey Dexter, what are you doing over her?" I tried to sound polite, I didn't want him to be uncomfortable just yet. I can't accuse him of something I don't know.

"Oh, um, hey Kenley." He rubbed the back of his neck, and he was caught off guard. Damn this was funny. "Nothing, just um-"

"He just started to say hi to us, making small talk." I looked over to see that Jasey was backing him up. Oh. My. God. She likes him. I know, I know, they just started to talk, blah, blah, blah, but I've know Jasey for a majority of my life to know when she's taking an interest in someone.
