It was a long and hard battle, but the war is over — and BTS‘ ever-loyal A.R.M.Y. has taken the crown for Most Loyal Fanbase of 2016 in the PopCrush Fan Choice Awards.
In a head-to-head battle with One Direction‘s fiercely devoted Directioners, the A.R.M.Y. — that’s “Adorable Representative M.C for Youth,” in short — ultimately pulled out the win with 47.62% of the vote, edging out the Directioners (47.42%) and Justin Bieber‘s Beliebers (1.27%) after over a whopping 2,800,000 votes.
