Scott had already went to school and Juliet was leaving her room. She saw her mom and she ran to her but she locked herself in her room. Juliet places her head on the door, hearing her mom on the other side. She hated that her mom was now scared of her. Juliet really felt like a monster.
"Mom. Mom, we're gonna have to talk about this eventually." There was nothing. "Okay. I'm going. I love you." She touched her door and cried as she walked out of the house. Later on the day it was night and Juliet was done taking a shower. She quickly dried myself and put on her shorts and a long sleeve shirt and she heard a hissing noise, she got out of the bathroom. Juliet went to see Jackson grabbing onto her mom and she was getting choked by him. She quickly changed in front of her, hissing at Jackson. As she went to attack, he gripped her neck tighter, that made Juliet back up and turn back.
"As you can see, Juliet, there's been some interesting developments lately. I think we should catch up." Gerard told Juliet as she turned to see him sitting on her desk, while Jackson and her mom were in the corner. Her fangs came out and growl at him. "Come on, Juliet, let's be realistic about who's got the upper hand here."
"Let her go." She told him.
"Can't do that. But let her live? That's up to you."
"What do you want?"
"I want to talk. You haven't been answering your phone."
"Let her go, and we can talk about whatever you want."
"I want the same thing that I have always wanted. I want Derek and his pack."
"You have them all in hiding. How am I supposed to know where they are?"
"I don't know, maybe since you are dating him, you might know. I think with the proper motivation, you could draw them out. And if you hadn't noticed, I now have a fairly impressive means by which I can motivate people. Why do you think I'm able to control him? Oh, you know the myth, Juliet. The kanima is a weapon of vengeance."
"This is about Kate?" She asked.
"I didn't just come here to bury my daughter. I came to avenge her." Jackson let her mom go and Juliet ran to grabbed before she fell.
"Are you okay?" she asked her.
"Oh, I don't know what's happening. I don't know what that thing was or even what you are, but whatever he wants, just give it to him."
"Mom, it's not that easy."
"Do what he wants. Just give him what he wants." She started to cry.
