*Dimitri*
"Dimitri," someone whispered and I silently cursed since my head felt like it was about to explode. "Wake up."
"Princess," I groaned opening my eyes. "Are you two alright?"
"We're fine," Lissa said as her and Christian helped me sit up. "You took quite a beating though."
"I'm fine," I said but Lissa rolled her eyes and healed me. "Thanks."
"Welcome," she said leaning back against Christian. "Now what's the plan?"
"I have no idea," I sighed leaning my head back looking up at the ceiling. "I just hope Mikhail was able to get away and warn the others. What happens you two should get some rest before then."
---"Get up," someone yelled and I turned towards the door as it was unlocked by a guardian. "It's time for the boss to have some fun."
I made sure to stay between Lissa and Christian and the guards as the lead us through the prison.
"This better work," I muttered loud enough for only Lissa and Christian to hear. "Do exactly want I tell you."
They nodded as we were lead up to the lower platform of the stage. Lissa whimpered when Rose walked up with Robert Dru and Jesse.
"Most of you have been trying to end the Dragomir line for many years," Robert said as Rose walked down in front of us. "And what better way for the Dragomir line to die out then by the person who should protect them."
*Lissa*
"I always put you first even when I I needed something," Rose said glaring down at me. "Then the one time I wanted to be put first you made it about you, but don't worry I'll make sure that everyone knows how selfish you were princess."
"I'm sorry," I whispered slowly standing up so I was eye level with her. "I'm sorry I never thought about your feelings or to put you before me. You are and always will be my best friend and I regret the way I treated you. You have always protected me even when you didn't have to and for that I always feel bad for everything I put you through."
"Lis," Rose whispered as her eyes faded to a light brown.
*Christian*
I stepped up to Lissa when Rose took a small step back, sighing in relief when I saw her eyes losing some of the red color.
"I didn't really like you when you first came back to school," I said. "Especially when you broke me a Lissa up. You would do anything to protect her even if it meant you got hurt. I started respecting you when you let me help when the school got attacked. I'm sorry I quit asking how you felt Rosie."
Rose let out a soft gasp and her eyes lost more of the red tint as Dimitri spun her around to face him.
*Dimitri*
"Roza," I said holding her to me. "I have admired you since I first saw you Portland making sure that princess was taken care of. Then I started having feelings for you when you worried very hard to make sure you ended up being Lissa's guardian. When you disappeared when all the strigoi attacks were happening I almost lost my mind, when we found you in Spokane protecting Mason even though he was gone made me realize how deeply my feelings for you were."
I stopped staring down at her wiping the tears that ran down her cheeks.
"When I was turned you dropped everything to keep a promise we made, you hunted me down and tried to save me and you did by breaking so many rules." I said softly resting my forehead on hers staring deeply into her eyes, "You brought me back and I pushed you away. You are an amazing woman who has put her life on hold too many times to count to make sure the people she cares about is safe and happy."
"Dimitri," Rose whispered as all the red faded out of her eyes and I smiled letting my tears fall.
"I regret pushing you away, and I will do what ever it takes to get you to forgive me." I whispered, "I'm begging you to come back to me and give us another chance to love each other."
"I-I," Rose gasped and I smashed my lips against her kissing her desperately.
"NO," someone yelled and I felt movement behind me so I twisted throwing me us to the side.
"Roza," I said rubbing my thumb against her cheek. "малышка(Russian-baby girl) are you okay?"
"I'm sorry," Roza started crying wrapping her arms around me and sobbing into my chest. "Please don't hate me I couldn't control it."
"It's okay," I whispered sitting up and holding her tightly to my chest.
"I can't do it anymore," she whimpered after her sobbing stopped. "You should have just killed me."
"No," I said pulling her head up so she was looking at me. "I will never leave you again, I will always be here from now on to protect you."
"Promise," she whispered brokenly.
"Promise," I said rubbing my nose against hers. "I love you Roza.
"MOM DAD," I turned around when I hear Andre yell and I froze when I saw Tasha pointing a gun at him.
"Let him go," I said slowly standing in front of Roza and Lissa. "Tasha let Andre go."
"Why," she snapped. "So you can have a family with little-miss-run-away-from-all-my-problems, I think not."
"Aunt Tasha let him go," Christian said standing beside me. "Why are you doing this?"
"Why?" Tasha laughed emotionalless. "So that child can have him, if he won't be with me then no one can have him."
"NO," someone yelled and I was shoved to the side just as Tasha's gun went off.
"Rose," everyone yelled and I turned in time to see her fall as her shirt was soaked in red blood.
