Shattered
Dark clouds covered the sky
Raindrops starting to fall
As the cold air caressed my cheeks
I felt my own raindrop streaks
The wind was whooshing
The leaves were rustling
My lips were quivering
My heart was breaking
The moon slowly showed
The heavy rain slowed
Cold wind hit me hard
With tearstained face, my knees buckled to the ground
Whenever I close my eyes
I would see his smiling face
Whenever I played a song
I remember the old times we’re singing along
I could feel my heart shattering into tiny pieces
World shaking, giving me dizziness
I wanted to scream but all I can do was sob
It’s hurting so much; all I wanted for it was to stop.
