The Falling Star
The moon beamed bright
Showing its dazzling smile at everyone
The stars twinkled bright
So glad to see the moon brightly lit above
A lil' start silently twinkled beside the moon
The closest star the moon ever had
She's glad that she's closer to the moon than anyone else
And she's happy that they had wonderful talks and shared happy moments
She appeared to shine brighter each day
Showing dazzling twinkles everywhere
She was so happy, even looking forward to the next day
But one day everything came rushing, turning the bubbly feeling inside dull and gray
She never expected to grow feelings to the moon
She thought 'this can't be, it's so soon'
But somehow she already asked herself if she's falling
And her subconscious sadly confirmed, 'You're now a falling star, but no one's catching'
