Deep in Thought
The sky was dark gray
No moon
No stars
On display
Silence
Loneliness
There's no other presence
Just me, looking at a distance
Thoughts so far away
Thinking of all those days
Can't help but smile at our laughing faces
Deeply kept and locked down in memories
Could pain ever fade away?
'cause how long? I wondered
How long do I have to wait?
For this wound to be mended
