I may not be the prettiest

I know I'm not funny
I know I'm not cool
But you kept telling me otherwise
You said I make you smile and feel whole
Never have I ever felt that way
Feeling so loved, so cared
From someone not a family
A distinct love that's new to me
But where's that love now?
Where are those moments we shared?
Where's that smile I always loved to see?
Where are you now? I want you here with me.
