Reconnected

Part 2

"Anthony please don't go" Dec pleaded trying to get the younger man to stay. "Declan I have to my wife is waiting for me" There it was the words Dec never wanted to hear. Ant was married. Any chance of having Ant were gone. "Ohh okay well can we meet up I need to speak to you" Dec put on a fake smile not to show his disappointment and handed Ant his number. "Yeah I'll call you" Ant smiled leaving Dec alone. What did he want to talk about? I haven't seen him in 10 years. Ant thought to himself making his way back to is wife and daughter. "Alright babe?" Lisa asked as he approached. "Yeah just felt a bit strange" he smiled and picked his daughter up. "How about we go get ice cream" he looked at his daughter. "Yeah daddy!" The 7 years old exclaimed. The family finished their day out and soon Ant and Lisa were sat on the sofa watching the TV. "You alright Anth you don't seem yourself?" Lisa asked looking at her husband who was staring into space. "Yeah babe I'm fine just a lot going on at work" he lied, he couldn't get Declan's face out of his head and it was driving him crazy. "I'll be back soon i need to clear my head" he got up and headed towards the front door. "You want me to come?" Lisa called from the other room. "Nah babe I'll be back soon you stay warm" he called back before leaving the house. He made his way along the high street and down a small path to quite spot behind the houses. He pulled out the number Dec gave him earlier and dialled it. His heart started to pound in his chest as the heard the ringing in his ear. "Hello" Dec picked up the phone. "Hi its Ant" the younger man smiled down the phone. Hearing Decs voice was enough to calm him down, he needed to see him and he needed to see him soon. "I'm busy tomorrow but how about Thursday?" Dec asked down the phone. "Yeah that's great see you then" Ant hung up the phone and let out a deep breathe.

Thursday came around and all day Ant wasn't thinking straight. He messed up at work causing him to get angry and take it out on his staff. "Sorry guys I don't know what's wrong with me" he spoke out after shouting at his assistant for the third time that day. He knew exactly what was wrong but couldn't admit it. Instead he left work and went home to prepare himself for tonight. He paced the floor waiting for the time to come around. Lisa had taken Lucy to her grandmas for tea so his was home alone which was lucky because he was nervous wreck right now. Soon he made his way to the local pub and walked in scanning the room for Declan. He found his target and walked over to him. "Declan" he spoke his palms were sweaty and he couldn't breathe properly. It's like he became more handsome by the day. "Anth its so good to see you" Dec got up and pulled him in for a hug. Ant instantly relaxed into it. "So what are your doing now?" Dec started as they drunk. They chatted about the past 10 years and reconnected. It was like they had never been apart by the end of the evening. "It's been great seeing you again" Ant smiled he had now calmed down and was able to talk to Dec like he did when they were teens. "Same I've missed you" Dec looked into Ants eyes and placed his hand gently on Ants thigh. The younger man didn't flinch he just let Dec's hand slowly move up his leg. What is he doing? Ant started to panic but didn't move he liked the feeling of Decs hand on his thigh. "I kind of wish I never moved to London sometimes" Dec carried on. The smaller man moved in closer and planted a gentle kiss on Ants lips. "I was just scared i guess" Dec pulled away and looked into Ants eyes. "Scared of what you would think" Ant was silent. Dec had just kissed him! All his feelings suddenly rushed back to front of his mind and for a minute he forgot everything but the way he felt about Dec. He leant in a kissed Dec this time it was more passionate and hands started to roam around one another bodies.

Ant woke up feeling groggy he defiantly shouldn't have had that much to drink last night. He rubbed his eyes yawning as he woke up. Rolling over and wrapping his arms around the finger next to him. It wasn't until he opening his eyes he realised where he was. "SHIT!" He screamed jumping up out of the bed. "Declan! What the fuck!" He shouted seeing the naked man laying in front of him. "Well good morning to you to Anth" Dec chuckled turning over to face Ant who was also still naked from last nights antics. The memories of last night came flooding back to Ant and he started to panic. He was married he had a daughter, he had just slept with another man! "Calm down Ant you wanted it" Dec got out of bed and pulled on a pair of boxers. "Declan this shouldn't have happened, I shut my feeling out long ago....I'm with Lisa now" Ant exclaimed. Dec just stood looking at Ant. "You what?" Dec asked. "What feelings?"
"When were teenagers I loved you Declan but you moved away I never thought I'd see you again! And then we reconnected and....this is a mess" Ant sat back down on the bed with his head in his hands. Dec couldn't believe what he was hearing. Ant had loved him all that time and not said a thing.
