Max paced back and forth on his sofa as he waited. He had called his friend Mike, who was an excellent tracker, to join the search for Gidget. However, he was getting impatient. Every minute they wasted that they were not searching for her, the terrier feared that she was getting hurt, or worse, killed.

Max was about to go look for him until he spotted Mike coming in through the window, his iPhone gently being gripped in his teeth.

As he sat down and placed his iPhone 5s on the couch, Max lept onto the couch and sat down beside him. He had to find Gidget...he had to set things straight with her, and ever since she saved him back on that Brooklyn Bridge, he started to have feelings for her. And now she was gone, taken away from him. He needed her back here, and back by his side.

"Alright pal, what's the matter?" Mike asked with concern, softly tilting his head as he looked at Max with his sky blue eyes.

"Gidget, she's...she's gone, Mike! I-I can't find her, and I'm really worried about her! She could've been dognapped, o-or lost, or m-maybe even killed! She could be-...she-"

"Alright, hey, relax... Take it easy. Gidget has gone missing?"

"Y-Yes! And... I'm very worried about her, Mike... it's all my fault."

The wolf/husky mixed looked confused, but worried at the same time. He then turned on his iPhone he had set in front of himself and seemed to open up a mysterious app that seemed to be designed specifically for hacking. "Wait, what? But... Why?"

Max let out a long sigh and hung his head down at his question in shame and guilt, his ears beginning to droop as his tail tucked between his legs.

"W-Well... K-Katie uh-... Forced me to breed with this dog named Ivy... I didn't really... know or e-even liked her..."

Mike shook his head then began to search the entire city of New York for the white Pomeranian Max was longing for as he mentally began to panic. If they didn't find her soon, her life could be over... and Max's little doggy heart would fall into a million pieces permanently. He loved her with all of his heart, and he couldn't bear to lose her now or ever.

"Alright... But you still have a chance, Max. You can make it right, and I'll make sure you get your girl back. I'll contact Tiberius and the others later, but you and I both know you didn't want to breed with a dog you didn't knew or loved. She probably thinks you've moved on to that other dog, Ivy... but now you can prove her wrong. Show her how much she means to you, and I tell you, you'll have her back snuggling into your furred chest before you know it. So... What's it going to be?"

"She's mine... she's MY soulmate, and MY girlfriend... and I'm going to get her back... Right now." Max said with new determination, his eyes narrowed like an Alpha dog. Mike showed him a soft smile, and before they knew it, a "beep!" was heard on his hacking device, meaning he had found her on the map. He set a tracker on her with his phone before looking back up at Max, a smirk across his face.

"Found her. As you can see... Everything is connected, Max. To traffic lights, to bank accounts, phones, tablets, criminal activity, animals and humans gone missing... even the whole power of the city. And it's all under my control. I can see everything, Max. So she's not going to be kept away from my sight. I'm going to find her... are you in?"

He only nodded, then after regaining his thoughts with new determination to find hie true love, Gidget, he looked at Mike before giving him his final word before their search before their quest to bring her back to Max.

"Let's do this! For Gidget!"
