Noctis pov
"Specks,gladiolus I want you both to stay up here." I said emotionlessly like usual "what why." Ignis asked "because I don't want you to risk your life for weapon and I can't leave you up here alone" I said still emotionless "I can't stay up here" gladiolus said angrily "why." I asked confused "because I swore an oath to protect you, I'm you sword and shield, I can't just let you walk into a huge fight alone" he shouted "I won't be alone I'll have prompto with me.....and at least I can actually work with him" I said muttering the last part so he couldn't hear "what" he asked a bit more calm "nothing it doesn't matter." I said "do what you want" I said walking towards the elevator "prompto stay here with iggy" gladiolus shouted over his shoulder while walking towards me.

We stepped in and rode it down to the very bottom when it stopped I was first to step out, I pulled out the map and started following it "what's wrong with you" gladiolus asked after a while "nothing I'm the same as always" I said still walking he followed after me until we reached a camp sight "looks like we're sleeping under the stars tonight" I said sitting down.
"What we gonna do about food" gladio asked while setting up the tent "I brought some meat so so we can cook that." I said starting a fire and putting the two pieces of meat over it. We ate in silence then went to bed.

"It's time to head out" gladio shouted from outside the tent "fine" I said crawling out of the tent "lets go" I said stretching, we walked for a few hours before finally coming across the door for the tomb unfortunately it had loads of eggs on it "I hate eggs" gladio muttered I couldn't help but laugh a little, I put my hand out to remove the eggs but stoped when I seen black smoke "I don't like the looks of this" gladio said pulling out his weapon I summoned my spear and warped towards the demon that just appeared.

"Why won't it just die" I shouted after hitting it for the 50th time "don't lose focus." He shouted after slashing the demon again "you too big guy" I shouted slashing at it again "get out the way" I shouted as I threw a fire magic in its mouth and it blew up "it worked" I shouted surprised "watch out" gladio shouted as a demon stabbed me, gladio instantly killed it and I fell "noct, are you ok." Gladio shouted as he ran over to me "I'm fine" I said standing up then almost falling "let's get out of here" gladio said putting a arm around my waist to keep me balanced even in a situation like this I couldn't help but blush "we need to get to the royal tomb" I said trying to pull him towards the tomb "whatever you say" he said pulling me towards the tomb.

I unlocked the door then walked in "I can walk" I said moving his arm away I held out my hand and waited for the weapon to come to me when it did I fell unconscious.

"He's awake" I heard someone say as I opened my eyes I looked up and seen brown eyes looking back at me "are you ok" he asked placing a gentle hand on my cheek "I'm fine" I said tying to sit up "you need to rest" gladio said pushing me back down "why do you care" I said not realising what I just "I've always cared about you, your like family" he said sincerely I made a disappointed look he must've seen this because he continued to speak "well that's what I try to tell myself, but I've always loved you. Your a spoilt brat who needs to grow up but your special, your determined to protect people and you care more than anyone even if you don't show it. And I love all of you the good and bad" he said softly "your an idiot" I said he looked shocked then hurt "but I love you too ya big ape" I said leaning up and placing a soft a kiss on lips "it's about time" prompto said walking in "indeed" ignis agreed "idiots" I muttered laying back down they all just chuckled and I had small smile
