Chapter 18

Lexie's POV
Mark and I talked a little but I'm still not talking to him, he has the kids and I'm staying at Amelia's. I don't even know if he's going to Meredith's party for sure but I hope so because I miss my boys, all three of them. Before I go to the party Amelia and I have to make a quick run to the hospital.

"Hey Amelia we have to go if we're going to make it to the party on time!" I yell as she runs down the stairs and out the door and I follow laughing.

Callie's POV
We got into the car and started driving to Mer's house when I realized I had forgotten my phone at home.

"AZ we have to go back home I forgot my phone." I tell her and she looks annoyed.

"Okay" she says and turns the car around. I quickly in back in and grab it as I run back out to the car and we continue on our way.

Jo's POV
Once April and I got there we realized we were thirty minutes early and the first ones there but we decided to go in anyways, against my arguments. "April please don't make me." I whine getting out of the car and getting Tommy from the side he's sleeping on.

"Jo we have to." She says as Liam jumps out of the car and she closes the door with Blake's car seat on the hand. I lock the door as I carry a sleeping Tommy to the door as April knocks.

Derek answers and looks happy to see someone. "Hey ladies come in!" He says opening the door wider as we step in and look around and smell all the amazing food. "Mer?" April asks looking at Derek. "Stuck at the hospital." We all laugh and I set Tommy on the couch as I head back to the kitchen to meet April, Blake and Derek.

"So Jo have you chosen a specialty for sure yet?" Derek asks grabbing something from the cupboard. "I'm pretty sure Ortho but I don't know for sure yet." I say sipping my drink as we hear another knock. While Derek goes to answer it I pull out my phone to see if Alex has texted me yet. But to my surprise he and Jackson turn the corner.

"Hey babe." I say giving him a kiss and April does the same. The boys go to the family room as April and I stay in the kitchen talking. After a little while everyone is here with their kids.

I hear Tommy start crying and I look at Alex who nods and goes to get him. I can finally relax and be with my friends. "So has there been anymore baby talk between you to lately?" Lexie asks taking a sip of her drink.

"Well---" I was cut off as Alex came to me side and Tommy was still crying. "He wants you." Alex says. "Ma ma ma ma ma!" He continues to cry. I take him from Alex and set him on my lap and he stops crying.

"No, one is already a lot for us." I tell Lexie looking down at Tommy. She laughs "Marks and I's hands will be full soon enough with this one on the way." I totally forgot that they were expecting again. "Congratulations again you guys are great parents!" I say.

"Thanks." She says as he attention is directed somewhere else and I see Mark and her kids walk in. "Uh excuse me." She leaves. I get up and find Alex talking to Meredith. "Alex?" I ask as he turns around. "Yeah?" He asks me. "I'm gonna head home." He looks confused. "What? Why?" He continues to ask. "I'm tired none of my friends are here and Tommy is tired and cranky and so am I." I tell him. "Drive safe." He says as he kisses my forehead and resumes talking to Meredith.

Lexie's POV
I see Mark walk in with our boys and my ace instantly lights up after not seeing them for two days. "My baby boys!" I yell running over to them and picking them both up out of the car seats. "Lex, I'm so so sorry I overreacted and didn't consider your feelings. Will you please forgive me." He asks.

I kiss both of my boys heads and set them down and look at Mark and I know by the look in his eyes that he is truest sincerely sorry. "Oh shut up you big dummy." I say smiling and pulling his face to mine as our lips lock and stay like that for what feels like forever. "It was all me." I say in between kisses.

"We can do this Lex I know we can. Your the best mom out there." He says kissing my forehead. "I'm not sure that's accurate but I know your the best dad. I love you Mark Sloan and our wonderful boys." I kiss him.
