Chapter 17

Arizona's POV
"Hey Callie!" I yelled while looking down at my phone. I didn't hear her walk back in so I kept scrolling through my phone waiting for her response, but before I can call her name again I feel her arms wrap around my waist.

"Hey are you ready for Mer's party?" I ask her turning around to see that she's dressed and ready. "Yeah I'm ready, so are the girls. We should probably get going soon." I nod and grab my purse as I head to the family room.

"Soph, Ky! We're going to be late if you guys don't hurry up!" I yelled up the stairs and I could hear them coming down, within seconds they were in front of me. "Mom has started the car and is ready let's go let's go let's go!" I say pushing them out of the door and locking it, we were on our way.

April's POV
Jo and I were sitting on the couch talking when my phone binged. "I'll be right back." I said and she nodded, I found my phone and came back to the couch. "It's Jackson." I tell her. "What does it say?" She asks.

I met up with your mom, sisters and Liam. We met up at a restaurant, we'll be home in 10 minutes we just left. Love you.

"Aww you guys are to cute." She says and I laugh. We see Thomas wake up and look like he's about to cry but automatically stops when he sees Jo. "He's really attached to you." I say as I get up and grab two water bottles. "Yeah I know, he's so clingy lately I have no clue why." She says as I come back with the water bottles and hand her one as she thanks me.

"He looks tired." I laugh as she sits on the couch and he clutches onto her shoulder and her opposite arm. "Understatement he's really tired, to be honest I don't really want to go to this dinner party." She says as she readjusts Tommy and sits further back. "I know me to, but I'm escaping my mom so that's good. We both laugh.

I hear keys go into the lock on the front door, and it swings open revealing my whole family. I go up to Jackson and kiss him, he goes and picks up Blake and follows me to the couch. "Hi Jo." He says and she says hi back. "Where's Liam?" I ask concerned.

"He wanted to ride with your mom and sisters, so I let him." He says as he hands me Blake and goes to our room to change. "I can't even remember when Tommy was that small." She says looking at Blake who's almost 5 months now. "It goes to fast." I say looking down at Blake and kissing his forehead. As I look up I hear the door start opening and I see Liam running around the corner.

"Mommy!" He screams and comes and climbs on the couch where I am and he hugs me. "Hey Liam did you have fun?" I asked and he nodded and I saw my mom and sisters come around the corner.

"Liam, daddy is waiting for you and in our room, can you go in there please?" He nods and runs into our room. "April, why didn't you join us?" She asks not noticing Jo. "Well Jo had a parenting question." I say making something up on the spot as I got a glare from Jo.

"Oh what was it?" She asks walking over and siting on a chair. "Well why don't you ask Jo." I say and knew that she'd be mad at me which she was. "Well, um I um needed advice on the terrible twos." She says and my mom and sisters nod. Right as she's about to say something Jackson came or with Liam. "Hey we're going to be late unless we leave now." He said Jo stood up and grabbed her purse and phone from the table as I grabbed Blake and my stuff.

"You can leave the kids with up ducky." My sister said. "Well my friends are bringing their kids to, so it's fine but thanks. See you later!" I said almost to excitedly and walked outside. "Jo is going to ride with you, I have to run to the hospital quickly. I put their car seats in her car." Jackson says and gets in his car and leaves.

"Well looks like your stuck with me." Jo says and I laugh. "Come on Liam, can you buckle yourself?" I ask as he climbs into the small seat. He does it perfectly and I lock Blake's car seat in and close the door. I see Jo struggling to get Tommy unattached from her and into the car. After about five minutes she got him in and got in the drivers seat.

"Wow, my kid was never like that." I say and get a glare from Jo. "Parenting question? Really?!" She says and puts her head on the steering wheel and starts laughing. "It was pretty stupid right." I say laughing as she pulls out of the driveway.

"Should we just ditch this thing?" I say and Jo looks at me. "Really as much as I would love to, Meredith is Alex's best friend. I can't do that to him, at least she likes you April." She says and I think. "She used to hate me." I tell her and she stops the car and looks at me.

"You have to tell me that story after the party, were here."
