As I started my adventure to find my friends and get the heck out of there I knew they were most likely drunk. I yelled their names several times with no reply only embarrassment as everyone gave me strange looks. I finally gave up and went to the bathroom. I sat on the floor, crying, I thought there was no hope in the search for them.
"They hate me. They abandoned me." I thought to myself. "I'm so selfish what if something bad happened to them?" I kept thinking to myself about everything that could have happened while each thought made me cry even harder.
Around 30 minutes later I hear two girls laughing and stumbling into the bathroom.
"Must be drunk girls that let their worries go with alcohol. That's such an amazing idea." I got up, turned around, only to find Hailey and Hannah.
"Hey, this is Trinity." Hailey said, barley able to stand up and laughing with every sentence even if they weren't funny. Not much has changed there if I'm being completely honest.
"Where have you guys been?" I said worried that maybe someone took advantage of them.
"We were on the dance floor. We saw you pass by like 5 times. Hailey is totally out of it. I had a few drink but she's totally drunk." Hannah said trying to hold Hailey up on her own. I realized Hannah was struggling so I finally helped her.
"We need to get home. My mom is probably worried. We need to get Hailey in the house without making any noise." I said as we left the restroom. We left the bar and started to walk when a car pulled up. "You fine girls need a ride." The man in the car asked.
Before we could say 'no' Hailey had to speak up.
"Totally. These heels are killing me." She said and got in the car. She closed the door right before I opened it back
"No." I said and pulled her out before the man could drive away." Have you ever heard of stranger danger? You could have got us killed Hailey. STOP LAUGHING THIS ISNT FUNNY!" I got furious.
"Geez, okay mom." Hailey said as Hannah and I helped her back on the sidewalk.
"Let's just get home before Hailey decides to jump into anymore cars." I said and Hannah shook her head.
"Here we are." Hannah said and opened the door I shut it as soon as I could.
"We have to be smart about this. I'll go in and distract my mom. Give it about 5 minutes then you guys come in." I said, opened the door, and walked in.
"Hey Trinity. How was the party?" She asked.
"Oh great. How was your night of movies?" I asked thinking of stuff to say.
"Very emotional. I watched Dirty Dancing and The Notebook like 5 times this week. Where is Hailey and Hannah?" She asked because I told her they were staying again.
"Oh they are coming later. I think they had to go home and grab clothes." I said while celebrating in my head for coming up with something so brilliant.
" I hope Hannah and Hailey make it in without getting caught." I said to myself. "What if they don't? What if mom sees them? She'll know we weren't at a fancy party. She will kill us." I kept thinking of the worst. The situation definitely needed lightened up.
