A couples minutes later I hear the door open, I know what it sounds like because of the squeak that needs fixed.
"Did you hear that?" Mom said as she jumped straight up like a rocket.
"I heard nothing. I'm enjoying having time with my mom until my friends get here." I said and pushed her straight down. My mom's back was toward the door so she couldn't see Hailey and Hannah like I could. They tiptoed up the stair and straight to the room. As soon as they got to the room Hailey couldn't help herself, she had to ruin it all.
"Your smile is pretty." We hear from downstairs. I later found out that she was talking to a picture of me.
"I know I wasn't going crazy I do hear something." Mom said, jumped up, and headed up the stairs. She went straight to my room I tried to stop her but there was no hope. She slung the door open. I couldn't look at my mom's face when she found my lie, I had to turn away.
"I'm doomed. My life's over." I thought to myself and tears filled my eyes.
"WHAT THE HEL*!" Mom yelled.
"I can explain," I said but turned and looked in the room to see an empty room.
"YOURE CLEANING THIS ROOM AS SOON AS YOU GET UP IN THE MORNING. WE'VE WENT OVER THIS. YOU'RE IN YOUR ROOM FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT!" Mom was furious, but you can see why I was the totally opposite. As soon as I saw my mom go all the way down the stairs and sat down I shut my door and whispered for them to come out.
"Sorry for the mess." Hannah said and I hugged her as tight as I could.
"It's totally fine you saved my butt. I owe you." I said, we then helped Hailey into the bed and tucked her in.
"So what are you going to do when your mom finds us here?" Hannah asked while we waited for Hailey to go to sleep.
"Once Hailey falls asleep I have a plan." I said and we both sat back and waited. After about an hour of her tossing and turning she finally fell asleep. Not so peaceful considering she was snoring, but not to where my mom could hear.
"Okay what's your plan?" Hannah whispered.
" I know we are on the second floor but there's a ladder outside my window. I need you to go out and then ring the doorbell in the front. You think you can do it?" I said hoping she would be able to do it.
"Totally." She said and we opened the window. She stepped onto the ladder and I tried to hold it as still as possible. Once she got down I let go and shut the window.
"I hope this works." I thought to myself. One minute later I hear the doorbell just as planned. I could hear my mom answer the door.
"Oh hey Justice. I didn't know you were coming. Come in I'll have Trinity come down. TRINITY YOU HAVE A VISITOR!! She should be right down." She said and my face went red.
"What happened to Hannah?" I thought to myself. I went downstairs and saw Justice.
"Hey." Justice said and we sat on the couch.
"Why are you here? I mean what's going on? Did something bad happen?" I asked thinking of all the thing that could have happened to not only her but Hannah.
"I'm not allowed to go home. I didn't know where to go. I got kicked out. I wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend and I snuck out to hang with mine and I got caught and I got kicked out." She said and started to cry. I hugged her trying to comfort her.
"I'll talk to my mom about you staying here for awhile." I said and started to walk to the kitchen where she was. "Did you hear?" I whispered to my mom so Justice wouldn't hear.
"Yes. She can stay for a month but she has to figure it out after then I'm not her mom. That's as good as I can do we aren't doing too well with money at the moment." Mom whispered back and took a huge gulp of wine. I hugged Mom thanking her. I went to the living room and told Justice the good news. She jumped up and gave me a giant hug.
"Let's get you changed you're soaked. Is it raining?" I asked as we walked up the stairs.
"Yeah. I had to walk here in the rain." She said and we went into the room.
"Be quiet. Hailey is sleeping." I said and handed her fresh clothes. I took her to the bathroom and gave her a towel. "Take a shower I want you to have a good night of sleep. Welcome by the way." I said and shut the bathroom door. I couldn't get Hannah off of my mind.
"Where could she be?" I thought as I sat beside my bed. I opened my window and stuck my head out. No sign of Hannah anywhere. It was freezing and raining out.
"What if someone kidnapped her? This is terrible. She's supposed to go home tomorrow. This is all my fault I shouldn't have let her go out there." I whispered to myself while the only person around was Hailey who was asleep. Even if she woke she wouldn't remember me saying that. "What about Justice? My mom said we can't afford another person to live here and we would have to buy her clothes and everything if she stays. Which my mom doesn't know. Maybe she could go back for that tomorrow. Life sucks." I kept whispering.
