Once I got on the bus I sat next to one of my great friends, Jaithon. We both sat and listened to our own music. While the bus ride was short I had a feeling that the day was going to be pretty long.
"Hey. Can I see your schedule?" I said as we both walked into the gym. He didn't say a word, he got out his schedule, unfolded it, and handed it to me. I got happy because we had almost every class together except 4th and 7th. I showed him and we both smiled.
We then sat with our friends, Hannah,Hailey, and Taylor.
"Hey." I sat with a huge smile.
"Someone seems happy." Taylor said waiting for me to tell her why I'm so happy.
I didn't. I just replied with something simple,"You think?" I asked.
"Yeah. But why? Someone get a boyfriend?" She asked kind of joking.
"Something like that." I said and turned to our principal who was trying to get our attention. Our principal, Mr.Ledford just talked to us about the rules and dress code and such. Being that I'm an 8th grader I knew what to expect.
Once he was finally done we went to our first period which I had with Jai and Taylor. We walk together, once we got to class we went straight into the room. My eyes got wide and I tried to hide my face.
"What are you doing?" Jai asked as we sat down.
"Oh nothing. I just look awful today and I just realized it." I said hoping they would believe me.
"You looks fine, I'm not buying it. Spill." He said and I had no choice but to tell them.
"Like a week ago I hooked up with this hot older guy at a bar and when I walked into class I saw him. I saw him because he's our teacher." I said as quite as I could.
"Omg girl. Scoring high. We will try and hide you." Taylor said and I hid behind a book.
I knew this period was going to suck.
