First Day

Astrid's POV:

"Hiccup, what the hell are you doing?" I asked my best friend, Hiccup who was singing along to Lady Gaga's 'The Fame' album while driving to school.

"Don't be jealous," he said while swaying back and forth while listening to 'Poker Face'.

"Oh definitely, if only I could be as talented as Hiccup Haddock," I sarcastically replied as I watched Hiccup sing along to Lady Gaga's contagious lyrics.

He smirked while keeping his eyes on the road. He was so fun to be around. We had been best friends since kindergarten, we lived across the street from each other. We had went through all of elementary, middle, and high school together and over the years we've gotten so much closer. We were now going into our last year of high school. Our senior year.

Hiccup had pulled up into the front of the school and parked. He pulled the key out of the ignition, got out of the car along with Astrid and locked his car. His car was a gift for his 17th birthday from his mom and dad for getting his license. It was a Lamborghini Aventador.

"Now we don't speak about my Gaga karaoke in the car please," Hiccup's had whispered in Astrid's ear.

"And if I did?" Astrid questioned Hiccup as they were walking to the school's front door.

"Well- I have a reputation to uphold," Hiccup noted as he gave Astrid a smirk.

Astrid laughed while they went inside the school. At school, people would portray him as the "The School Hottie" but to Astrid he was just a big goof who was so much fun to be around. Hiccup was overall pretty popular, along with Astrid and their friends, Elsa, Jack, Anna, Kristoff, Merida, Eret, Rapunzel, and Flynn. Most people at school were jealous of their group. Especially Astrid, since everyone wanted Hiccup but no one got anywhere with him. No one could understand how Astrid and Hiccup were so close.

Today was the first day of their senior year. They both got their schedules, locker number, locker combination and their textbooks. Hiccup and Astrid had compared schedules and they were very similar except for some classes. But with classes that Astrid had without Hiccup, she also had her other friends in them, the same went for Hiccup.

Astrid had met up at Hiccup's locker and waited for him to grab his books. They both had science class, so they walked to class together. While they were walking to class together, Hiccup got hit on by 3 different girls. The last girl that hit on him was a complete bitch.

"Ooh, Hiccup? You taken?" Jessica "The School Slut had asked shoving Astrid.

"I mean why have Astrid when you can have me," Jessica had whispered into Hiccup's ear in a seductive tone.

"Sorry but we're friends, although I'm sure Hiccup isn't looking for a girl like you that sleeps with every guy they talk to," Astrid had defensively spoke. Jessica was making her blood boil.

"Bitch," Jessica muttered underneath her breath but loud enough for Astrid to hear.

"Wanna run the by me again?" Astrid said, she was getting real pissed off.

Jessica didn't say anything but just gave Astrid a mean glare. Astrid just wanted to push her into a locker but unfortunately she had to refrain. Plus, it was the first day of school and she didn't want to get suspended.

"Yeah, that's what I thought," Astrid remarked, while walking to science class with Hiccup.

"Woah- someone's a little protective over me," Hiccup giggled as he was walking with Astrid.

"I'm not being protective, I just don't want you to screw up your life with her, she's bad news," Astrid remarked.

"That's basically being...protective," he laughed while lightly nudging Astrid.

"Just keep it in your pants and sleep with someone who won't give you an STD," Astrid stated.

"I will- I will," He chuckled while entering the science classroom.

They took a seat at the back of the classroom and sat together. They got their books out and waited for the teacher. While waiting Astrid took out her phone and began to go on it.

"Astrid- what are you doing?" he questioned Astrid.

"Just checking my Snapchat, watch out for the teacher for me," Astrid answered while opening some snaps. Hiccup was watching her but watching for the teacher as she replied to some of her snaps.

"Hiccup- smile!" insisted Astrid as she put the front camera of her phone to Hiccup's face. Hiccup gave his dorky lopsided grin and Astrid snapped the picture on Snapchat. Astrid looked at it, laughed then put it on her story.

Jack and Elsa then came into the classroom then took a seat next to Astrid and Hiccup. Minutes after that, Mrs. Rose came in the classroom and began to go over the learning concepts of the year. The whole time when Mrs. Rose wasn't looking the four friends were on their phones, texting their friends, checking their social media and taking group selfies. The class eventually ended and Hiccup, Astrid, Elsa and Jack left the classroom and began walking to History. Their next class. As they were walking to History class, Jessica spotted the four friends and went to join them.

"Hey, Jack, Hic, what class do you both have next?" Jessica said in a seductive tone. Completely ignoring Elsa and pushed Astrid to the side again.

"H-History," Hiccup stuttering while staring right in Jessica's dark brown eyes, blushing a bit.

"Oh," she laughed while putting her hands around his neck. "Me too," she got really close to his face.

He smirked and gave a laugh, when suddenly Jessica's lips and his were pressed together. Astrid, Elsa and Jack starting at him in awe. Everyone knows that she's 'The School Slut' and that once she gets what she wants, she completely forgets about you and never talks to you again. What was Hiccup doing?

Hey guys it's @big6comics here! This is my new book, "Promise Me"! I'm very confident with this book than my other one. I'm going to delete "Some Things Never Change" and just continue with this one. I have so many ideas for this book than I did with the last one and I can't wait to share them with you. This book will definitely have a sequel, or a trilogy, it might even be possible that it will be a quadrilogy. Hope you guys enjoy this book! Commment what you think about the story so far!
