At school everyone was excited for during they're battle class everyone would be getting their starter Pokémon excluding those have already gotten they're starter.

"Any idea which one you want Serena?"

Serena was still remembering the ride to school when ash had called her cute.

"Earth to Serena, helloooo"Dawn flapping her hands in front of Serena.

"Sorry kinda drifted off for a second there"

Dawn smirked"Dreaming bout Ash eh"

Serena blushed "N..nooo,stop it"

"Amourshipping has got to happen"Dawn smirked.

Serena rolled her eyes and entered the gym with Dawn tagging behind her.

"Wow,they're all so cute but I think I know who I want".

Serena picked up the fire fox "Will you be my partner?"

It gave A little nod.

Made your choice have you Miss Yvonne?

"I think I'll be having fennekin Professor"

"All righty then just be careful cause if it gets mad she will fry you and eat you"

Dawn and Serena then took a seat next to her friends and Gary.

"Where's Ash?"the honey blonde asked.

"Oowhh is someone looking for ashy boy" Gary smirked.

"Shut up Gary"the honey blonde retaliated.

"Ash was right your favorite word is shut up"

"Shut up Gary"

"Just answer the question Gary" Dawn said with an annoyed look.

"Whenever there's a gym session or battling session ash will go and hide cause he is, well the weakest battler like ever".

"Serena looks like you'll need to whip your boyfriend into shape" Dawn said grinning.

"I don't like him and shut up"the honey blonde replied with a fed up tone.

"Oh reallyyy"Clemont had stayed quiet the whole time because there was an intro on Pokémon battling going on.

Cilan in the other hand was trying to pull attention.

"If you'll excuse me I'll be on the other side of the gym" Serena said picking up fennekin and bringing her to the other side of the gym.

Dawn then gave Clemont the death stare.

What did I do?the boy said innocently.

After that was a tournament battle and then they were dismissed.

On they're way to the cafeteria Dawn spotted Ash and nudged Serena which caused her to trip and fall on him.

Everyone in the hall stopped what they were doing and watched them fall upon each other.

Gary then nudged Dawn"You are a horrible freind" he then chuckled.

Serena got up first"Very funny Dawn".

Meanwhile Ash got up and dusted himself only to be slapped.

"What was that for"he yelled jumping back.

"That's for always being in my way"she then giggled and blushed.

"Like it's my fault that arceus made us fall on each other again and again and again"grinning at her.

"Well, lets go in hungry"

Then Gary interrupted the silence by adding "Now that's Ash for ya yelling at his girlfriend"

"I heard you"his tone getting deep.

After lunch the gang went they're separate ways.

They regrouped when school was over at the gate, only Ash wasn't they're yet.

"How long are you gonna deny it Serena"smirking at the question.

"Shut up"

"Oh stop saying shut up would you" said Gary appearing from the crowd.

"Looky here mister I say what I want if I want to say I like him I'll say it mys-" she clasped her hand to her mouth.

"Don't worry girl,the doctor of love is in the house"

Serena's mentality had formed a hand and faced palmed herself from the inside.

"Oh my arceus" moaned Serena.

"You know what I think I'll leave the school before mister Gary here becomes a perv doctor".

Both of them said they're good byes and Serena was on her way home.
