Chapter 8

The next day surprisingly Serena had woken up early. She had even gotten ready before her mother had gotten out of bed.

"Well someone is happy"

Serena who was making her breakfast turned red."I'm just in a good mood".

"I'm busy on Wednesday so you'll have to stay home and do the chores"

"Uh,why are you telling me this?"

"Uh,since you're in a good mood I'm guessing that that boy is going to tell you something"
Then putting her derp face "or maybe even ask you out"

"MOM"huffing up and blushing at the same time.

"Relax,now just dont rush it ok" laughing and then heading out.

"Mom stop it"still red as a rose. She took her toast and headed for the bus stop to avoid further teasing from her mother.

Skipping half an hour until she is at school.

Serena immediately looks for Ash. He is surprisingly early despite always coming late.
As usual Gary was with him talking while ash tried to shut him up so that he could get some sleep.

Right as Serena was going to them Dawn had crept up behind her and jumped on her yelling some stupid fact on gorillas.

"What the ahhh"she said stumbling back while looking at the now laughing Dawn.

"If you wanna do that at least quote someone who has something to do with life and not eat bananas all day".

"Hardy har har,oh and I'm just having some final moments before amourshipping becomes canon" grinning while Serena brushed herself.

"It is not going to be canon"turning red.

"Ohh really"taking out her phone and showing her the message.

"I uhh,it was uhhhh AUTOCORRECT ya it was autocorrect"

"Don't worry ill be right behind you" chuckling and then pushing Serena towards the boys.

"Hiya boys,Serena here has something to say to Ash"

"Here that ashy boyyy"nudging him back to life.

"Wait,what" the clueless Ash said while blinking to life.

"Gary I think we should leave these two to have a moment don't you think so?"

Serena was fine with that but what really made her angry was the grin that Dawn had on her face. Then the two left leaving Ash and Serena alone in the room.

"Oh hey "Serena finally realizing who was there.

"Oh heyyy"she said with an awkward tone to go with it.

"The longer the hey the weirder this conversation will be"he said as he put his hat on.

"Ya about yesterday I just kinda I dunno"ash then shushed Serena.

"It's okay Serena,I kinda i dunno,well forget that",pausing then" Hey,do you wanna go out with me tomorrow,just you and me?"

That last bit caught her off guard,inside she was squealing but on the outside she was just shocked.

"You mean li..like on a date" forcing herself to say those last words.

"If you want to call it that,yes I guess "scratching his neck then getting up.

"If you have something better to do on Friday it's okay,I understand" preparing to walk out.

"Tomorrow afternoon after school?"

"Ya"

"I'd love to come "her cheeks had turned red and she had started sweating.

"Great I'll pick you up tomorrow after school"

"O...ok"

With that Ash left the room. Not much later Dawn joined her.

"So how'd it go"cheerfully asking hoping something exciting was going to happen.

"He asked me out on....a date"saying the last part in a weird tone of shock and exhaustion.

"You're so lucky girl,the first boy to ever date Ash Ketchum,but don't forget to teach him how to battle"saying everything cheerfully and then pulling her out.

"Come on we still have school ya know".

The next hours past by in a flash. It was already time to go home and Serena was still day dreaming about tomorrow.

Ps:don't do this in real life,you're bf or gf will notice,you'll either be slapped for being convicted at starring at some other girl or something I just know the first part😎.

So on the next day Serena woke up early and laid down all her clothes on her bed.

She spent roughly an hour deciding on what to wear and she was almost late for school of her mother hadn't reminded her the bus was leaving soon.

Her mother scanned her daughter from top to bottom then smirked"So same boy? Oh and don't you think that's a little showy"

She was wearing a black top with a short pink skirt and long socks that covered her legs and to top it off a pink hat.

Serena rolled her eyes and continued for the kitchen.

"Just don't do anything to exciting,ok" grinning then running for her car in fear of her daughter pulling of her toes and making her eat them.

After her mother left she spread some Nutella on her toast and left for the bus stop.

This time instead of Dawn treating her it was May and Clemont.

"Words gotten out that you and Ash are going on a date"May was squealing and Clemont was scanning Serena.

"And to add proof to the theory,Serena is wearing some weird clothes that boys will never understand". Clemont said then laughing at his statement.

The two laughed with him then left Serena to go their own classes.

And like yesterday school went by in a flash with a quick Summary of Dawn begging her to tell her what happened after the date.

After school Serena waited for Ash with Dawn still begging her.

"Alright Dawn"giving in to her annoyingness.

"YES,ok my jobs done and I need to go,bye"with that she left Serena.

Once Dawn was out of sight Serena felt something sharp jab in her arm she turned but then she started to feel drowsy. She then finally gave in and fell asleep.
