"Oh my..." I said in an almost-whisper.
Sure, some things are still hazy but I remember. Fragments of memories evaded my eyesight for a good ten seconds. Everything was slowly coming back to me. Overwhelmed with mixed emotions, I tugged on Kenma's arm with a maddened smile plastered on my face.
Upon my panicky tone, the blonde looked at me with wide eyes whispering concern and perplexion. With several gasps of breath, I tried to tone down from hyperventilating. "Kenma, I remember! I remember!"
A smile escaped Kenma's once-apathetic face. He started hoisting himself up from the bench and looked towards the direction of Lev and Kuroo slowly nearing our direction.
With what I believe was a sigh of relief, the bleach-blonde spoke. "I guess my job here is done then."
"Kenma-senpai!" Lev's voice attracted attention from some passerbys. "I got your kaarage!"
With a flick of his wrist towards me as a sign of goodbye, he dashed towards the screaming Lev. He whispered something into Kuroo's ear. Then taking Lev by the arm, he pulled the bellowing giant out of the scene. Of course, he didn't forget to snatch the paper bowl of fried chicken balls from his friend.
I couldn't help myself but laugh at Kenma's desperate attempts to shut up the half-Russian. I didn't even notice Kuroo coming near me until he swiftly sat on the bench. He seemed to have this Cheshire cat grin embellished on his slightly tanned face.
"Kuroo I-"
"I know. Kenma told me. How much of it though?"
'Quite enough,' I wanted to tell him. I saw flashes of us. We were together. Somehow, my wildest fantasies of being his and him being mine didn't seem to be just dreams. They were real.
The more I waited, the more encapsuled memories broke their way into view. From one, I saw of Kuroo and I, hands intertwined as we walked home. Another suggested a time when we were bundled up together on a couch while watching a movie. From another standpoint, Kuroo held my cat-- or at least, a smaller version of it the creature; Kuroo gave to me Berkley as a kitten. But there were things I couldn't shake off.
"Some of the memories still have missing holes." I answered honestly.
With two fingers under his chin, he thought for a bit. Then he looked around the park. Not a second sooner, his face lit up and he once again took me by the hand. Jolts coursed through my veins upon the physical contact.
Curiosity may as well kill me now. This time, I needed to know what was in that sly head of his. "Okay, where are you taking me now?"
A mischief glinted in Kuroo's eyes as his voice poured like silk, "Now that the kids are gone, we've got quite the catching up to do, Birdie."
Oh my... My heart pounded painfully against my chest. Its beats reverbing against my entire body, shaking away all stray bits of fear. Should I be worried over the fact that I'm no longer scared?

This. I did not expect this. If someone told me two weeks ago that the guy who mysteriously came in my house and snuck up on me half-naked was taking me to a ferris wheel ride, I probably wouldn't believe them. But as much as I would've denied, it still would've happened. Kuroo's persistence does wonders.
