Stuck in between

Chapter 12

Ellie's pov

After Brandon awkwardly avoided me all day I was wanting to go home . But I had one more class to go to before winter break. I get there earlier then usually and take my seat. Kayla rushes through the door a few seconds before the bell rings.

"Kayla please tell me you didn't tell Brandon last block"

Her silence answers my questions but I could be mad at her because I did tell her to tell him.

After a few seconds pass I sigh . "Oh my god I told him that you said you like him" she say excitedly . "what did he say back" I say in an equally excited voice. the smile on her face was replaced with a frown and I new it was something bad.

At that moment his twin brother Bruce walked in the room and there was silence between me and Kayla . "ill text you later" she say and I was thankfully she did say it in front of his brother. For the rest of the class we played game and I peeked at Bruce a few times , but finally it was time to go home.
