Stuck in between

Chapter 18

~ the day before valentines day .. the day of the dance~

"Oh my god I can't wait for the dance , am I dressed okay" Kayla asked for the fifth time today .

"Ughh!! ,Kayla you look fine stop freaking out" I say frustratedly.

"Umm okay.. sorry it's just josh is going be there and I'm so nervous.." she say trailing off into thought.

Kayla likes this kid name josh who she met at track try outs and now sees him everyday at practice,he ask her to the dance!!!

I laugh " Kayla you look okay ,okay ?" she smiles and then asked Britney the same question she asked me.

Where in drama class and we have to work on these scrips for a play we have to perform.

It's me,Britney,Kayla, Gilbirth,and Andrew in a group . we laughed and goofed around but managed to get three ideas down.

"Calm on guys lets work on the scrips!!" I say over everyone laughing at the funny nicknames we just made up for each other.

"alright, alright , let's go" Kayla say clapping her hands which made us laugh even more.

By the end of class we only wrote one scrip , the rest we said we will improvise on.

When the bell ring we all leave "alright meet us here after 8th block okay Britney " Kayla say.

"No ill meet y'all in the dance I have to go get my cuzin" Britney exclaims.

Kayla and i say okay at the same time , and start off to are next class. our classes are on the same route so we walk the same way. when I get in to the hall way were Bruce always comes though I don't see him. Figures his not here on the day of the dance and the day I was going to give out the valentines day cards. when I get to my class I see Anabell not here either wow what a day I say pulling out my phone to text her to see where she's at.

"Anabel where are you ?"I text her hiding my phone under my desk so the teacher doesn't take it from me .

"Srry I set my phone to wake me up, but the power at my house went out so it did charge and when I woke up I missed my bus srry"she replies.

" Awww now I have have to read that poem in front of the class by myself"

( for are 8th block mrs.saint James we have to read this valentines day poem in front of the class, and mine was meant for Bruce )

"Srry" she say and after tht I had to stop the teacher almost saw me.

When we get to are other class I see Brandon , he walks in the class with a big smile as usual but he doesn't give me one glance as he takes his seat which is two seats in front of me. we quickly finish our do nows and head to lunch

When we takes are seat Brandon sits closer then usual and when I search Anabells lunch table for Bruce and I don't see him I turn back around and when I look in front of me Bruce sits two tables in front of mine. ' I thought he wasn't here ' I thought to myself .

'Why isn't he sitting at his table ' I ask my self.

His seating in the same seat as me at the table his seating at but he sits on the opposite side so that he was facing me ..

Will we were eating our lunches i caught him glancing at me a few times but nothing to worry about I guess...
