Chapter Four
"Hello Fabian", said a hesitant Amber Millington.
"A-amber", Fabian stuttered.
"Well...sort of", Amber said.
"What do you mean?", Fabian asked, his hands becoming clammy.
Amber ignored his question, "Any word from Nina recently?"
"No", Fabian sighed, a glimpse of hope flickered in his eyes, "Have you?"
"You could say that...", Amber replied hesitantly.
"Well where is she?!", Fabian cried.
"Fabian...", Amber sighed.
"What?", Fabian shouted.
"Fabian I'm not Amber", she said quietly.
Fabian got a look of worry across his face and he took a step back, "then who the hell are you?"
"I'm...well you see...", she began.
"I'm calling the police if you don't tell me who the hell you are", Fabian warned her.
"I'm your angel", she said bluntly.
"And what the hell does that mean? Amber are you on drugs?!", Fabian exclaimed.
"I'm not Amber!", it said, "I'm your angel."
"What does that even mean?!", Fabian shouted.
"I'm here to give you a wish", she said quietly.
"Amber I don't know what kind of joke this is but I'm happy to play along if it'll get you out of my dorm", Fabian replied.
"Fabian it's not a joke!", she screamed, "I'm here to grant you a wish you so do you wanna take it or not?!"
"What kind of bloody wish?!", Fabian shouted.
Amber collected herself and then said calmly, "A life with your first love."
Fabian quietly stared at her.
"Amber get out of my dorm room", he said.
"LOOK!", she screamed, "I AM NOT AMBER! I'm here to give you a wish! I can make it so Nina transfers to this college and I can make it so you two can fall in love again."
"If this will get you out of my dorm then fine just do it", he said impatiently.
"But I must warn you, there are consequences", she said seriously.
"Yeah yeah whatever I have an essay to work on here", he muttered.
"You will give up your perfect life", she said, "no more Amanda, no more squeaky clean record, and Nina will not be as she seemed at anubis."
"Sure whatever just leave", Fabian commanded.
"As you wish", Amber said quietly leaving the room.
