It all began in a small village, not too long ago. The moon came down from her perch in the sky, and gave birth to 7 children, each of which had a power over the heavens. The seventh child, however, was without a power, and was therefore deserted in the village. This child was found by a couple, of which raised it to be their own.

"C'mon Iris, get up! It's time to go to the ceremony!"
Iris sat up in her bed, still exhausted. She wasn't a morning person, and most people knew it. She sighed, cursed the damn ceremony, and got dressed into her favorite dress: blue, shaded with black, to make it appear a beautiful shade of blue that no words could give it justice. To grossly simplify it, it was a dark blue. On the dress, there were diamonds, of which sparkled in the light, giving the appearance of stars. It contrasted her dark skin beautifully, making her appear as the night itself. The dress was a ballgown dress, flowing when Iris walked, and giving her a royal appearance.
Even though she hated the ceremony, she needed to go to it. It happened every year, honoring the gods of the sky, especially Tarek, the patron god of her city. Legend states that he was born in this village, and is the embodiment of the morning star.
"Alright, I'm ready, lets go."
