Skwisgaar decided he would go to the library to look for the younger guitarist. Toki was usually in there, practicing quietly, as he never ate with the rest of the band. Skwisgaar just assumed he wasn't accustomed to them yet or he just wanted more practice. He found him at the back of the library, similar to when he first found him. He was practicing one of the new songs Skwisgaar had shown him, messing up occasionally and letting out groans of frustration. If he noticed Skwisgaar, he didn't say anything. So, Skwisgaar decided to initiate the conversation.

Sitting next to him, he spoke softly. "We need to talk."

It was awhile before Toki answered, and he didn't lift his eyes from his guitar.

"What's to talk about?"

"You know what, Toki. About yesterday."

That's when he finally fixed Skwisgaar with his piercing blue eyes.

"What about yesterday?"

Skwisgaar met his gaze, unabashed.

"You know what. Toki, this is serious."

Toki sighed heavily. "I don't see why we have to talk about it. It's not important."

"Toki, you have whip wounds and you're telling me that they aren't important??"

Toki stood up quickly and glared down at Skwisgaar. He started speaking furiously in Norwegian, and Skwisgaar could barely keep up.

"What is there to say??? That my parents whipped me? That they left me in a deep, dark hole?? That my mother watched as my father abused me and left me close to death?? There's nothing to say about it! You can't do anything about it, even if you wanted to!! They aren't here!! They're all the way back in Norway!"

Skwisgaar's eyes were filled with horror and shock and he couldn't take them away from Toki, who was breathing heavily and glaring at him. He stood up and faced Toki, pulling him into a hug.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

They stood there for awhile; Skwisgaar with his arms around him and Toki not moving other than his heavy breathing. Skwisgaar figured that he would immediately be shoved away, but he wasn't. Toki did push him away, but gently. He wouldn't look at him either, his eyes downcast.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell.." He looked up at the clock.

"Toki-"

"It's almost time to go.. I'll see you later Skwisgaar."

With that, he left and the bell rang moments later.
