Chapter five -happy little family

I'm changing Alex's age so shes only 17 so there is more to work with

I woke up and panicked,  forgetting where I was.

I heard faint laughter coming from the lounge.

I got up and walked out of the room shyly.

I made my way to the lounge and stood in the doorway unseen.

I saw Dan and Phil watching pokemon with a little boy.

" Daddy who's that? " the boy suddenly said pointing at me.

Dan turned his head and smiled at me. " Matthew meet your sister Alex."

I walked in to the room a bit more. "H-hi " I said softly.

The boy ran over and hugged me "hi Alex"

"This doesn't feel real" I said when Matthew pulled away.

"I never thought I'd see you again" Phil spoke up. " I don't think it feels real to any of us"

" Is it okay if I um have a shower? " I asked looking at the floor.

"Alex this is your house too" Dan laughed.

"It doesn't feel like it " I whispered.

Phil stood up and walked over.
"Alex this will always be your house" he hugged me.

Later that day I found myself laughing for the first time in years as I played with Matt in his room.

"Kids lunch is ready " Dan called.

Matt ran out the door while I slowly walked out to see my family.

"Come on slow poke" Matt giggled.

I smiled.

" Come on Alex sit down and eat." Dan said happily.

As I ate I realised this was the first proper meal I had had in what felt like forever.

"This is really good thank you guys so much" I said between bites.

I saw Phil's face light up at that.

"How about once we are done we go watch a film" Dan suggested.

"Can we watch the YouTube movie" Matt yelled. " I love that one cos daddy's are in it" Matt said to me.

" Yes I know" I said holding back tears.
That was the last happy time I had with these people.

"Alex is that okay with you? " Phil asked.

"Course " I said through gritted teeth. 

And it was.  It made me feel so much happier and made me miss ever one.

"I have an Idea." I said suddenly once Matt was having a nap.

"What is it? " Phil asked.

"If I stay here can I go back to the internet?"

"But everyone thinks you are dead" Dan said.

"Yes but they think I died cos of suicide so we could say that I went in to a coma and was not supposed to live but I came out of it this year but no one wanted to say anything since I was in hospital and still not okay."

"You have put too much thought in to this" Phil laughed.

"We will think about it" Dan said

We spent the rest of the day chillin and being a family.
